Joey stood in the back of the Chinook, By the two Pinkies. He looked out the porthole and could see the Desert of Iraq skimming along a mere 50 feet below them. It had been fully dark for half an hour now had they had a further 15 minutes till they touched down. The plan was the Chinook touched down and they debussed. They had two minutes to get there gear off. He just hoped that everything went according to plan.... |

Arthur was lounging in the seat if his quad watching the new recruits. There was a mixture of exitement and worry on all there faces. "Im not sure I get it either." He said "Why do we need so many troops in a Behind lines mishion anyway, I recon command are expecting trouble and these guys are what they had spare." He had lowered his voice but he saw worry begin to win over the faces of some of the closest men. |

Sophie gave Arthur a sidelong glance "Try not to make too much noise Arthur, I think it would be best if our target didn't make a getaway thanks to the early warning of a over excited biker" she said, smiling to show she wasn't being serious |

"I did a bit of intelegence work but I never really got any big breaks or did anything special but that the reality of spy work, in the end i decided I wanted to do something more interesting so i signed up to do Army recon opperations." |

"I was part of a front line unit, nothing paticularly high risk up until a year or so ago - when we hit an enemy supply train. That didn't go so well - lost a lot of good men, but we won in the end - people always seem to say that it was thanks to me but it was the brave guys who died for us who won the day. Before the army though, I didn't go to uni - much to my parent's dismay seeing as I did brill in my A-levels, joined up about a week after I left college. Normal everyday life just isn't for me - when my tour of duty is over I'm gonna find home life really boring - though not having to worry about being shot is one bonus" Sophie said, laughing quietly |
