As the Chancellor was contemplating life in the Regal Room of the Min Chapel, a secondary residence for the Chancellor, Minister Chun gently tapped the door of the regal room, a light wooden door made of birch wood. 'What is it, Minister Chun?' The chancellor said arrogantly. 'Mr. Chancellor, sir, I think it is time that we explore our possibilites of diplomatic relationships with um...' The Minister's sentence turned into dribble, this was usually the part where the Chancellor would have interrupted him. He opened his mouth, but ironically... 'What? Diplomatic relations with the crazy monks in Baekdu? Diplomatic relations with the blades of grass? Spit it out Chun.' Chun felt a mental blow to the stomach. He knew something was going to go wrong once he entered that room. 'No sir, with other nations.' Chun said firmly, his dry mouth adding a soft sandpaper sound to the Minister's voice. The Chancellor noticed, and handed the Minister a glass of water, before quickly retorting. 'I didn't quite catch that Chun, with other whats?' 'Other nations, Mr. Chancellor' The Minister quickly replied. In his chair, the Chancellor began to nod. He was being to be interested by yet another of Chun's ideas. Although it wasn't as if Rain would dare venture into the red room, or even give an idea to the chancellor. 'And which one do you fancy creating relations with, Chun?' 'Our preliminary studies indicate that The Angelic Wraith Empire would be a good place to start. They are a modern country, much like ours, a large country, and bountiful with resources. And as of yet they have had little agressive qualities, despite a civil war being waged inside their borders.' 'A civil war?' 'Yes Mr. Chancellor, an ongoing one. Our reports, however, seem to show that the government is healthily in control of the nation. It is unlikely our trade will be endangered by some rebels with bandanas for a long time.' 'Good. In that case, send them a message. Just don't tell the Emperor, he may not approve...' Chun nodded, and began to leave, but spun around on one foot just before leaving the room. 'Sir, do you reckon that the Emperor is planning to stage a coup on our government?' The Chancellor frowned. 'I honostly don't know.' The chancellor said, glancing with worry at Chun. 'Good night Chun' The Emperor said again, now picking up a thick book about space. 'Good night, Mr. Chancellor.'

Elliot sat in his living room watching television when a man in a black suit entered. Elliot's gaze shifted slightly to look at the man. A moment later, after setting Isaac down beside his mother, Elliot walked to the man and exited the room. "What's up?" Elliot said casually. "Sir," the man responded, "We've received a message from Koryo." "Koryo? Hm... What did it say?" "They wish to meet with our leadership for discussion." Elliot fell into a state of thought. He was the official leader of the nation, but allowed a democratically elected body to do most of the world. "Allow the Democratic Government to handle it." "Yes sir." With that, Elliot retreated to his family, and the man left in the opposite direction. As he walked, he pulled out a cell phone and dialed. "Yes. Am I speaking to the Prime Minster's Secretary?" A few seconds of silence. "Alright, please inform Mr. Rose that the Emperor has cleared him to take lead of the peace talks."
OOC: My nation's government is divided into two parts: the imperial part, and the democratic part. Which is how they're addressed. When it's the democratic part acting it's the Democratic Government. When it's the emperor: Imperial Government. Oh, and if your civil war mention is in regards to my General Slaughter thread, the event would've been kept under cover by the Democratic Government, so I don't think you'd have a way to find out. And just so it's understood: The Democratic Government doesn't like the Imperial Government, but the Imperial Government has more power (both technical and hardcore as the military would most likely side with the emperor in open conflict). Yep, internal stuff going on in there. o.o |

OOC: My government is actually EXTREMELY similar actually There are two parts to my government, the Chancellor's government, and the Emperor's government. The constitution delegates the power to the Chancellor, but the Emperor often asserts himself as head of state, and in the past has been known to be devising of coup attempts. The Chancellor is thus conducting this mission to the AWE without the Emperor knowing. Sorry about that civil war thing, as well.

OOC: It's cool. In my nation, the emperor's the good guy. Pyro huggles Elliot.
As the HERRON plane arrived, three Executive Secret Service agents waited into the terminal. Once the plane had landed and connected, the three guards walked over to the appropriate gate and awaiting the exit of Minister Chun. As the man approached the guards, they smiled warmly and greeted him. "Welcome Mr. Chun," one of the guards said. "We shall be your escort to the Executive Mansion, where you shall meet with our Prime Minister, Mr. Wilbert Rose. Please come with us." The three guards then exited the airport, Mr. Chun with them, and boarded a black SUV. Mr. Chun might have noticed that the guards each took turns sliding a card across a reader in the vehicle, but the guards said nothing about it. They simply drove towards the Executive Manson. Several minutes later, Mr. Chun entered the room. Mr. Rose was sitting behind his office's desk when the man walked in. "Welcome Mr. Chun," Wilbert said softly, "to the Angelic Wraith Empire. I trust you had a comfortable flight?" OOC: I hope you don't mind me skipping to the meeting.

OOC: Not at all... Awww I don't get to meet elliot?Chun, being an awkward fellow, felt strange being adressed by someone so foreign. Ironic, he thought, him being the Minister of all things foreign, for Koryo that is. And for manners, this man had none. He was not offered a drink, or even a biscuit. Everyone needs a biscuit. Chun did not voice these concerns, but he was indeed disconcerted. If they were not even polite, would a contract be even possible. Realizing he was daydreaming, Chun lifted his ovalish head over his skinny shoulders. He was wearing a greyish-beige suit, with a cute blue pinstripe tie ontop of a plain white shirt. Strange, of course, for summer. But he did not mind. Taking a miniature water bottle from his pocket, he gulped down the whole bottle in a manner of seconds, and in fear of being rude, looked at the Prime Minister again. 'Of course, a wonderful flight. I am Minister Chun, of Koryo. Specifically Chancellor's Koryo. But that does not bother you. We are here at this summit to discuss the futures of our nations, and how they can be intertwined. I trust you understand what my government is asking of your government. We wish to organize a trade pact to benefit both of our nations.' Chun, without looking away from the man, or the glass table that separated them, eased a legal pad from his suitcase, and after it took a small laptop, and placed it next to him. It was odd, he thought. Sitting in chairs in a meeting. So extravegant. He figuratively shook his head, and refocused on what the Prime Minister was saying. |

OOC: Nope, Elliot is currently in an "I don't give a hell, you do it" mode Btw: Diplomacy isn't my best point... Wilbert was slightly surprised by the man who just drank the entire bottle. "Well, I was going to offer tea and pastries..." At that moment, a butler entered the room carrying a large covered tray. "But my cook was a bit late..." "On to business then." Wilbert sat behind his desk and pulled up a map of the continent. "Your nation is across the map, so any land routes would be a bit too risky. We cannot possibly trust all those nations to simply allow our traffic to go through. So, our products would most likely go by correct?" "What kind of goods is Koryo willing to trade?" Wilbert looked at a nearby secretary, who was busy typing away the conversation, while the laptop itself was also recording it. |

Chun strained not to be embarresed, he could feel his cheeks turn red, and his head cock downwards. He was now really embarassed. He tried hiding it. No emotion, it is only a weakspot. He nodded to the butler. 'I was thirsty. Had a great deal of salty food just before the trip. One's got to eat sodium before traveling to such heights' Chun scrambled. He felt like slapping himself, but refrained and instead took a bite into the nice jelly pastry. He also watched with lust as the rich tea was poured into the fine china cup. Again, he was distracted. 'Koryo is a very diverse region, financially and resourcefully. Whilst I am not an expert in such a subject, I do know that Koryo has a huge oil deposit in it's gulf; a safe haven of black gold. We also have uranium, metals, silver, and many agricultural projects which would no doubt be of interest to your nation. All of these are now on the table, depending on what you have in exchange.' Chun was now focused, not a thought passed through his mind except the burning image of that cursed resource map. God how that was drilled into him. |

"It's alright. I can understand such needs, and I apologize for my cook's delay. But onward..." "Silver. We are lacking in that. Our supply of it is rather on the short end. The rest we have our own share. Are you willing to trade gold for the silver? As gold is more valuable, would you be willing to agree to 100 kilograms of silver for every 10 of gold?" |

Chun gently shook his head 'While gold is indeed more valuable than silver, silver is not worthless. What do you say, of, perhaps 50 for 10? 50 being silver, 10 being gold?' |
