Go to B&Q mate. get thier own Paint and Varnish remover. It comes in a white bottle and is about £6.50
Slap it on all over the body and leave it for about an hour. But don't put it on the plastic parts.
Wash it off (use warm water and an old toothbrush) and re-apply where needed

After trying the new Nirtomore's and nothing happening!!
I gave the B&Q stuff a go, but I filled a bread baking tray up and leave parts in it.
Works a treat.
