Had a complaint against me put into ebay

Basically I won and paid for a model on eBay last Thursday.

I've just received a message from eBay saying the seller has opened a complaint about failing to pay.

When I check the won listing it says payment pending, but when I check my paypal history it shows that a payment for £60 has been sent and that the status for it is unclaimed.

I've messages the person selling the model explaining things from my end, but what's my next move? What happens now?

Need advice on this, from 152 feedbacks left, I've never had a bad one cause I've always paid quickly and never messed anyone about.

Im not sure but he may have put it the wrong paypal address therefore cant accept tge payment? Which means its his fault! If i was you id go on to paypal and try and cancel the payment, he needs very good reason to leave negative feedback as sellers physically cant leave negative feedback without having a very good reason!!

E mail him and ask what his paypal address is and just double check! I did this myself a few months ago, put .com on instead of .co.uk and i couldnt claim the payment as it wasnt my email?

Its his problem, not yours. Ive sent payments & on paypal it says unclaimed before but it sorts it self out after a little while.

Well I messaged him/her lastnight and I still haven't had a reply back.

I'll leave it for a bit and then message them again.

if a payment is unclaimed it normally means one of 2 things
1, it is a new account and your payment is on hold his end until he receives feedback from you
2, he has provided incorrect paypal address .
a seller can not leave a buyer negative feedback , full stop
if he leaves negative comments for you report it to ebay and they will remove them as they can only leave positive comments , the only way they can harm you is by not leaving any feedback which is not a problem tbh.
what you need to do is respond in the resolution centre to his non payment case and state clearly you used the check out process provided by ebay and you payment has been sent , everytime you make a payment you receive a unique transaction number this will be in the payment receipt you received when you sent the payment , make sure you add this to your response as ebay can check it , also state that the payment is unclaimed in the provided paypal account on the invoice from the seller .
the reason i say do it via the resolution centre is he has to respond in order to pursue the case he has opened
hope this helps

I had an unclaimed paypal payment that I sent yesterday. The seller gave me his paypal with a spelling mistake in so it was unclaimed.
