(Or pull, but Things break when I pull on them. lol) ![]() ![]() Also works on this rally car too. ![]() Feel free to add your own or ask for a guide and i'll do my best to post One. ![]() |

Ut Escort Cosworth st road car and Wrc road car. I found the Best way is it to drop the bottom off. There's 4 screws. ![]() Once off the back wheels are on a bar, just twist and pull. ![]() ![]() The fronts are quite britle and snap really easy. I find it better to remove the two screws holding the axle on. Then pulling the wheels off.

undo screws to drop the rear axel then using a pair of wire cutters grip the axel just behind the hub (brake disc)and then firmly sqeese cutters to pry the hub away from the metal shaft then the wheel will come off but the hub is bonded to wheels so the spokes will snap off if you try to split them just like mine did didnt mater to me as i was changing them anyway.![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us ![]() Uploaded with ImageShack.us |

thats the method i use, you can get the hubs away from the wheels by carefully squeezing all the way around with some wide nose pliers and pulling, be careful. also older autoart cars have plastic spindles not metal, so be extra careful as its easy to cut through with the snippers Lala, if you arent using the original tires fancy donating them to a good home?

Escort Mk3![]() When the wheels are removed, as above, this is what your left with. To fit wider wheels, I simply file this down or cut it off completely. |

Thanks to Juju.Right mate i have just removed a wheel from my Morris in les than a minute lol ! heres how i did it firt i removed the tyre to see what was underneath and theres no join there so you can leave the tyres on what you have to do is insert a craft knife between the large flange / brake backplate and the wheel centre and twist the craft knife blade as you pull and turn the wheel and it popps straight off - what your left with is a sleeve on the stub axle with a screw in the end remove the screw and the sleeve heres a couple of pics for you ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

GMP wheel removeing. most models just the same srew driver method, same with most ertls. |
