Um...High 'n Tight is a US Marine haircut style....

it is a haircut yes... it is also an applicable phraseology for how to pack a load-out/backpack...

you want the weight high and tight against your body...

High and tight.

and no crap hanging all over the place making noise and getting snagged / dropped/...

The cons in the reviews of the gregory pack were "weak seams" and "delicate". The fabric looks pretty weak also, something that might tear with ease.

Back on topic: how is the fitness going for everyone? I took last week off and slid a couple pounds higher, but I am back on the attack doing my P90X and running. Supplementing the P90X with six days a week on the running. Doing 3 to 5 miles every other day, and a shorter 2 mile interval session on the other three days.

Looking to take a good old USMC PFT soon to see where I stand.

I have been getting a regular ass kicking in JuJitsu... the pre-class stretches and exercises have left me perpetually sore... especially in the abs Oy! Might ad the P90 workout as well.... have DVD.

I've been running two miles a day for the past month, now, and doing daily sets of pushups, situps, dips, pull ups, leg ex's, dumbell curls, and lower back strengthening ex's...I'm feeling pretty good these days...been a lot of work...

I need to get running. I'm getting enough of a strength workout at work. So, cardio needs some work.

I hate running, but know I need too. I've been lifting every other day, then cut and split wood on days I don't lift at the farm. Got a heck of a pile of split oak for next winter. Shooting for a 400lbs bench press for my birthday in May. Pushing around 370lbs presently. Swinging an 8lbs splitting maul for 3 hours a crack will get your cardio going and has been great for my shoulders. Keep it up boys. You are all an inspiration.

Damn, 400lb bench is a lot of weight. You'll just have to catch me to take advantage of that chest muscle you got!

Did 17 pull-ups today during P90X. Pretty good since I started down at like 3 originally when I was really out of shape. Almost to the big 20. I'm still working it, even during the past couple weeks.
