Mercy Street

Regular Forum (No New Posts) Mercy Today
Here you will find specific information about Mercy Street as it is today. This includes new items to be discovered, any major changes to the setting, or anything that your character would probably notice such as extreme weather phenomenons (storms, rain lasting more than two days, that sort of thing). Attacks or other real-time events which will affect the street as a whole will be mentioned up to five days prior to the actual event, and then again when the event begins. This is also where handlers can give their character's whereabouts during the time between scenes, and where handlers can see which characters are in Limbo. This is a non-RP board and solely for the dissemination of OOC information.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) The Street
This forum covers the entirety of the main street. The asphalt underfoot is cracked and old, the sidewalks often missing large chunks. Here and there are old stains, maybe oil, maybe blood. All characters first enter here, in front of the 'Mercy' wall.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) The Convenience Store
The store has obviously seen better days. Two large plate-glass windows look out onto the street, but one has been smashed. Interestingly, most of the glass fragments appear to be missing. There was obviously once a sign above the door, but it's gone, leaving only hooks and wire. The door's rusted bell still jangles when opened.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) The Hotel
The Shangri-La hotel is one of the few buildings which is relatively unscathed, at least on the first floor. The sign is still up, if heavily scratched and pitted with the occasional bullet hole, and the doors, of thick glass and steel, are still intact. There are two entrances; the main doors, and a small side door into the laundry room. It's currently locked. The second floor has a row of windows looking out, and several have been broken. The fire escape is broken as well, the majority of it lying in a twisted heap in one of the many alleys.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) The Bar
The bar is one of the more destroyed buildings on the street. Both windows are smashed, glass lying freely everywhere, and the door hangs crooked off one hinge. The sign appears to be missing, however someone has spraypainted a new sign in its place, proclaiming the bar to be "The Last Call". The brick walls are cracked and chipped. It appears that something major was attempting to enter at some point...

Regular Forum (No New Posts) The Barber Shop
Although the barber shop doesn't have a sign, it's easily recognizable thanks to the red, white, and blue striped pole lying across the doorway. It's been propped in place as though to block the door, however as the door opens inwards it's not particularly useful. It also sports a large plate glass window, this one unshattered.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) The Clinic
The clinic, marked with a large red cross, is the worst hit building on the street. The front windows are shattered, and both doors have been torn off their hinges. Furniture lies haphazardly outside the building, mostly chairs and bits of small tables. The walls are pockmarked with bullets and massive chips of brick are lying around. Something big has obviously happened here.

Regular Forum (No New Posts) The Alleyways
The entrances to the alleyways can be found between every building, and occasionally behind some. They twist and turn, intersect, and if someone's keeping track, completely defy the laws of physics. All eventually come to a dead end, some in a small crawlspace, others in a large empty area of the street that can't be seen from the main road.
