Halfway through that one, right now. I look forward to a typically mind-numbing Studio BONES ending from it, too. B-)

You might like Last Exile.

The story isn't exactly strong, but I'm a big fan of Range Murata's art style, and I'm a sucker for steampunk.

Vanships are awesome.

Durarara

Cowboy Bebop + Movie

Evangelion + movies

Fullmetal Alchemist + Movie, and watch the second anime series, which is an adaptation of the manga, whereas the first anime series deviated early on.

Escaflowne (Movie)

Trigun

Ghost In the Shell (anime, anime movie, and movies)

5 Centimeters Per Second

Voices Of A Distant Star (Manga is better)

Black Lagoon

Baccano!

Ergo Proxy

All the .Hack anime series, and play the games (Well worth it!)

Eureka Seven

Kurau Phantom Memory (Way underrated. Almost no one knows about this. It was amazing.)

All the Ghibli and Miyazaki films (Hayao Miyazaki is the Japanese equivalent of Walt Disney for anime. Whisper Of The Heart is my fav' Ghibli film!)

Moyashimon (<3 it!)

Lupin III

One Piece

Nana

Serial Experiments Lain

Welcome to The NHK (It can get a little perverted, but at it's core, it's fucking GOLDEN. The creator also did a manga called Negative Happy Chainsaw Edge if you want to check it out. It's amazing, too.)

Paranoia Agent (Yes! also check out Perfect Blue, and anything else directed by Satoshi Kon)

Blood: The Last Vampire (And if you can, read Blood: The Last Vampire -Night of the beasts-. It's a novel written as a follow up to the film, goes way more in-depth into the series, and was written by Mamoru Oshii, who directed the original Ghost In The Shell films.)

Blood+ (Essentially a reimagining of the Blood: The Last Vampire series. It was REALLY good. The dub is well worth watching if you can get it. )

In fact, the dubbing in pretty much everything I've listed is, at worst, fairly adequately done, and not horrible. Most of them were done very well, especially Baccano!, GiTS, Black Lagoon, Blood: the Last Vampire (Dubbed by default) and Bebop. Those are key that you REALLY should see the dubs, rather than subs.

The only ones I know don't have dubs, or haven't seen dubbed are Nana (Haven't seen the dub, because it wasn't dubbed and released until VERY recently, which is a shame.), and Moyashimon, which has never been dubbed and Durarara (Since it hasn't been dubbed)

ANGEL BEATS.

It's not done yet, but it's the most ingenious anime I have ever seen. The perfect blend of comedy, action, romance, and heartwarming moments!

And there is no way in hell you will NOT love EVERY. SINGLE. CHARACTER. It's THAT well done. (Maybe I should watch Clannad and Air after it's done, because it's done by the same guys. :P)

Watch Clannad and Clannad After Story, and you will just fall in love with it. Seriously. <3
Air was ok. 'Had some good moments, but I didn't really like the last half. =\ Though the Summer specials were entertaining.
OH OH! AND WATCH KANON 2006! That's a good Key anime too. B-) But yeah, Clannad's my favorite. After Story had me bawling my eyes out (even though I knew what was gonna happen because I watched the movie.) First season of Clannad is just nice comedy with heartwarming stuff (and Kotomi's arc = so so good. <3 But very sad D:) and the second season, After Story, gets VERY emotional. 'Ending could've been better, but *shrugs*.
I'm liking Angel Beats, but I'm not loving it. I think I like it more than Air, though (and Air is my least favorite Key anime. If I had to list them from favorite to least favorite, it would go, 'Clannad/Clannad After Story, Kanon 2006, Angel Beats, Air TV.'
Though you're right about the characters. They are easily loveable. ='3 (GIRLS DE MO, whooooo~)

Anyways, how 'you liking The Skull Man, Moe? =3 Overall I thought the anime was REALLY enjoyable, but they could've seriously explained the ending so much better. When you finish it, if you don't understand it, ask me and I'll try my best to explain it (because even I don't 100% understand it. Its ending has got the be the most mind-numbing BONES ending. Ever.)

Also, adding on to the EscaFlowne bit of Gwen's post, WATCH THE TV SERIES TOO! Suuuuch an amazing show. :'D The movie was made after the show, but was not a continuation. Still, a nice movie (though I couldn't get used to the new animation very much in comparison to the TV show's. Especially Meryl's drastic change from young cat girl, to a young cat girl with huge hips and a tight-fitting dress. ='( )
