Well, I can officially cross off the final Harry Potter book off of my, 'To Read' list. I finished it today. C: (I know, I'm so late. xD)

All I can say is FFFFF-I HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS EXCITED TO HOPE TO SEE A HARRY POTTER MOVIE SINCE THE FIRST 2. AHAHA!~ 8D (Meaning the last movie will be freaking amazinggg. If only Richard Harris were still alive. D': I miss him as Dumbledore. ;_;)
That book was amazingness. A little hard to get into (but all of the Harry Potter books' beginnings were a little hard to get into for me xD) but once you got to the meat of the book, it was so epic.

SO MANY DEATHS, THOUGH. WHAT IS THIS.
Spoiler: click to toggle

But anyways, it was a really good book.

So, I actually has a book on my To Read list (I finished Luna a while back, btw. :P)

The Host, by Stephane Meyer

...I READ THE FIRST CHAPTER AND IT'S THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF HATE THE PLAYER, NOT THE GAME. (It proves that she actually CAN write something... there is a reason that Twitlight fans hate The Host... because it's actually GOOD...)

I will never know, because I don't care. She's soiled herself and I will never give two shits about anything she writes, says, thinks or does ever.

Ironically, I'm not a Twitard (but I've read all of the books once and I own them. They've been collecting dust. Therefore, I'm not fangirl ballistic over it. Though its not so much that the books themselves are drop-dead awful, its the damnable crazed fanbase. Oh, and the movies) and I bought The Host awhile back. The ironic part was that the first time I tried reading it, I got maybe through the first quarter and got bored: left it for a year. 'Went back to it thinking, "I should give this another chance, since I've heard good stuff about it" (similar to my thoughts on the final Harry Potter book, which, of course, ending up awesomely): began reading it again, and got very, very bored. Again. XD;

I eventually ended up donating the book. The story is good enough, but I just found the pace too slow. More stuff needed to happen. =\ 'Wasn't for me, I guess.

Double post, sorry.

I finished Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.

Whacky-as-heck novel, and I loved every minute of it. xD

King: "You alarm me! I feel faint - get me a ham sandwich!"

'Makes me wish the King was in the Disney movie. =(

I'm adding the translated versions of The Count of Monte Cristo and Shangri-La to my list.
(For anime comparison reasons. *cough* XD)
