[planet]Varley[/planet]
Capital: Bayou
Cortex: We're not going to come out and call it the whore house of the 'verse, but it's something like that. At the very least, Varley is home to one of the largest Companion training homes out on the border, and (although not legal) there are plenty of unlicensed types around as well. They're best known for their annual 'Love Festivity', an almost carnival like day in which 'love' is celebrated at a very steep price.[/blockquote]

[planet]Greenleaf[/planet]
Capital: Reuels
Moons: Agyar, Byson's Rock, Dyton
Cortex: It's a jungle out there, which is all well and good enough for certain medical companies that have nearly taken over Greenleaf. With all the vegetation that seems to have taken to Greenleaf, there is plenty for scientist to find out there in the thick jungles that swallow this planet whole. Plenty to lose, as well, with the layer upon layer of trees making hiding damn easy if you need to. With the feds finally taking interest in all the drug running coming off this planet, certain folks have plenty of need to start hiding, though it hasn't hurt their sells to much.

[blockquote][planet]Agyar[/planet]
Capital: Prithvion
Cortex: Every now and then, it's nice to see a planet where things seem to be going right. Agyer may not be some big old trade center, but she produces enough to keep herself and neighbors from starving and to keep herself in fairly good condition as well. Agyar might be a good example of paradise to some. Enough of the alliance influence to keep them safe, help them out when there is a bad drought or the like, but not enough to ruin all their fun and over govern them. They're just a small little planet in a good, good place. Just too bad there ain't more places like her in this 'verse.

[planet]Byson's Rock[/planet]
Capital: ---
Cortex: ---

[planet]Dyton[/planet]
Capital: Mauls
Cortex: Settled heavily by British, Irish, Welsh, and even a few Scottish settlers (although mostly Irish, who were not at all happy to have the British settlers come in on their lands AGAIN). Dyton is a fairly broken place. After a civil war of their own, they had to get swallowed into the unification war and, well, while they might have not been a major strategic point, war will have it's tole. The whole place is sort of broken down, much like the parts of London-That-Was you would rather avoid at night, only covering most a planet. It's been the goal of many a kid to get off that rock.[/blockquote]

[planet]Higgin's Moon[/planet]
Capital: Canton Settlement
Cortex: They say Higgins won this world in a card game. Pretty good win, actually, though he wouldn't have thought so at the time. He turned this place around, got the indentured workers and the system all set up. With him at the realm, this little moon started to make some money. Or, well, at least he did. Now the workers, they're rather stuck in the mud, if you don't mind me saying (they do. Just try that one around them, see how many limbs you lose). Don't see any of that extra money Higgins has been making, just mud, mud, and more mud.[/blockquote]

[planet]Jiangyin[/planet]
Capital: Morganel
Moons: Dangun, Rhilidore, Tongyi
Cortex: A simple little place, largely ignored by just about everyone. Jiangyin mostly takes care of itself, doesn't export much, doesn't see the alliance. They just keep up producing enough to keep themselves going, run their own towns and stay out of everyone else's business, even if it is just the next town over. Sure, it's hardly a paradise but for the most part their good, simple people and like it that way. Course they would prefer if people stopped getting snatched but, hey, these things happen. Nothing they can do about it, now is there?

[planet]Jubilee[/planet]
Capital: Yovel
Moon: Covenant
Cortex: Built as a settlement for those forgiven of their debts to society, the original plans for Jubliee were actually quite sweet. After they've worked off their indentured servitude or spent their times in a lock down, a person could move out here and the community would set them up a place to live, eat, and work. And... And, well, actually, it all went pretty well considering what you have. They take care of each other, watch out for one another and for the community. Course, you wouldn't want to live their if you didn't like the constant prayer and sense of togetherness, and they don't have a lot in the way of modern wonders, but at least they're trying to rough it after things have already been so rough on them.

[planet]New Melbourne[/planet]
Capital: Mazu
Moons: Destiny, Maria
Cortex: In many ways like Newhall but with plenty more land and the smell of fish always hovering in the air. New Melbourne isn't one big ocean, but it certainly has it's fair share of seas, lakes, and puddles. And anywhere there is water, you're sure to see people fishing. It's good money, especially on a planet that is positioned so perfectly in the border, a good place for most ships to stop and refuel and maybe pick up some food while they're down on solid ground. What isn't filled with water is filled with cities and factories, leaving New Melbourne a center of - if not exactly culture, at least something social.

[planet]St. Albans[/planet]
Capital: Ford
Moon: Pi Gu
Cortex: Small, cold, ain't much to see on such a place. St. Albans is for the hearty, both body and soul. Most people there make a living mining, though they don't do as well as Regina by no account (course, they don't have Bowden's, either, so perhaps that's worth something). a few scattered towns lay this way and that across the landscape, most of it covered in snow.

Heilin

[planet]Lazarus[/planet]
Capital: Bethany
Moon: Dora
Cortex: You don't get much in the way of urban out on the rim, and your very last chance to see such things in a long while might just be Lazarus. Something like a giant space port, Lazarus seems to function mostly as a stop over between the core and where ever else people might be going. It's a good gig that keeps him from sinking too far, even when the other planets are suffering drought or famine or what have you.

[planet]Paquin[/planet]
Capital: Apollon
Moons: Clawthorn, Shinbone
Cortex: In the mood for a little entertainment? It doesn't matter what kind, Paquin is sure to find you something. Originally home to the Grand Opera House (all it takes is one look at the amazing sunsets seen from the planet to understand why someone would want to build a tribute to the muses here), culture just sort of sprung up on this planet the way grass grows on others. And while it may not have the refined taste of Sihnon, Paquin has something better: everything. Theater, museums, movies, music, clubs, anything you may consider fun, someone is sure to have built it up here. and, yes, there are plenty of scary things in the dark that might bump up against you, but the risk is worth it to spend just one day in this wonderland.

[planet]Silverhold[/planet]
Capital: Hutchson
Moons: Beggar's Tin
Cortex: A nice little planet, not too far from most border worlds. Sure, it ain't a paradise, but it's not exactly an inferno. They have some farms, couple ranches, a few things that even look like cities proper. It's a good place for a simple life, a lot like Earth-That-Was some people say. Maybe not so crammed full, but they got just a little bit of everything, and they make do rather well.

[planet]Triumph[/planet]
Capital: None
Moons: Mycroft
Cortex: There are but a few scattered settlements all over Triumph, each one content to keep to themselves. Most of them different and the same in a way you can't quite say. Each little town as it were, founded by some one or another just looking to be left alone for whatever their reasons except, of course, when they're going and starting some sort of fight. At least they don't have to deal too much with the rest of the 'verse. Ain't too many people looking to drag themselves all the way out here.

[planet]Aesir[/planet]
Capital: Vanir
Moons: Barr, Bestia, Odin
Cortex: Most worlds that get terraformed turned mostly to land. A few turn more water based and when that happens it is usually fishing and tourism that fuel their economy. Aesir has the water, and they certainly do like fishing, but they seem to have missed any opportunity at bringing in tourism when they took to raiding incoming ships. The fjords maybe beautiful, but they're hardly the soft beaches those core-breed rich girls and boys want to see. Fine by the people of Aesir, anyway. They rather like having their own little planet, mostly Norse in origin as far as settlers to it's rocky and cold cliffs go. They're a friendly bunch, too except, well, in part known for looting anyone who comes near enough to their space.

[blockquote][planet]Barr[/planet]
Capital: ---
Cortex: The only thing you'll find on Barr is the Iskellkian Company, official builder of alliance ships and cruisers. Everything from space stations to the smallest escape pods, they do it all. Occupied mainly by workers and feds with their families. They have a strict no landing policy unless you're alliance or getting yourself a job and, hey, who wants to put themselves in the fed's hands, anyway?

[planet]Brisingamen[/planet]
Capital: Heime
Moons: Alberich, Beowolf, Freya
Cortex: Like Aesir, Brisingamen is known for their Scandavian influences. Unlike Aesir, Brisingamen is less water and more mountain, which turns out to have worked quite well. Their are many a volcano on the world, and plenty of metals and gems to be gathered. Most are sold off to Anvil or the Blue Sun Corps, although they have been known to fashion some gorgeous jewelry from some of the more precious metals they mind.

[blockquote][planet]Alberich[/planet]
Capital: Dibon
Cortex: Desert, that's the word that really comes to mind. Even from up in the air - no, especially from up in the air where all a person can make out is miles and miles of sand. Occasionally little patches of water and vegetation come up, but they appear so rarely that it seems impossible that any life would manage to survive, and yet people can always surprise you with their ability to keep going in the face of all obstacles, especially when that obstacle is a lack of funds to get off world.
