If the walk from the shuttle to their room had been so bad, Rora didn't even want to imagine what performing with Hunter would be like. She hated having bangs, she felt like her makeup was coated on, and the corset she was wearing felt ridiculous. She couldn't move, and she wondered briefly what it would be like to try throwing a knife with it on.

It was probably something they should've practiced.

The minute the door was closed and they were alone, Rora slipped away from him expertly, kneeling - with some difficulty - at her suitcase. This was going to drive her nuts.

Rayna, though, on the other hand, would enjoy every minute, she remembered. "Alright, Aleksei," she said, looking up to him as she reached to make sure her tools were still in place. "What next? You're the organizer of this little trip." Her words came out with a bit more bite than she intended, but the corset put her in a sour mood.

The door closed and Rora was ducking from beneath his arm just as quickly as Hunter was throwing it up into the air and striding across the room. In a flash there was as much space between them as the room would allow with the exception of them both pressing themselves against opposite walls. He tossed his bag onto the bed taking a quick glance around at their accommodations. It wasn't the absolute luxury of the suite's in the passenger decks but it was far nicer than anything on Cressida. A little kitchenette and sitting area, a decently sized private bathroom, a closet a large chest, of drawers, a plush queen sized bed and a Love Seat. Even a decently sized cortex screen to watch media-waves on!

Unzipping the bag he began to unpack onto the bed, tossing a few personal items onto the night stand; a well worn book in Russian, a small picture frame housing images of his 'family' and a pack of condoms in the bedside drawer. These things were sold in the small details. Gear was laid out in stacks and his weapons and tools hidden amongst the folds of clothing while the throwing knives were displayed freely. "Unpack, and leave me half of those drawers they aren't all going to you." His jaw tightened a bit as he saw the woman already starting to file her stuff away in there, she better not think she was getting more than half. If she packed too much good riddance to her.

Grabbing up his toiletries kit the mechanic turned sideshow attraction moved into the bathroom to take over half the counter there. The place had to look like it was planned to be lived in for a good long time. That meant bandages, painkillers and mouthwash in the cabinet and a toothbrush and beard trimmers by the sink. Even half empty shampoo in the shower. Moving back out into the sitting room he planned to file away the clothing next. "We'll need to case the joint soon, get our bearings and put visuals with the plans we've been looking at for days. Also going to have to go meet the boss man and figure out when out first performance is." A stack of pants in his arms he edged closer. "Also, did you know Cora spoke Russian? Ain't seen a thing in her file about it."

Rora had prepared as well, she tossed some lacy underwear and lingerie into both the top drawers, giving him a look. "We are supposed to be newlyweds. You've gotten me a few surprises for yourself. Don't worry, never worn so you won't get my cooties on you."

Listening to his schpeal, Rora sighed. This was going to be difficult getting used to, but, she admitted, it was something that was important. It needed to be done. And, for the moment, she really needed to like this man. No matter how much he royally pissed her off, especially his condescending tone he'd had when laying down the law about the dresser. Yuh-huh. "Remember, we need to pretend we love each other. Meaning there needs to be a blurry line between what's mine and yours." She wanted to slam her head into the wall, but this was bigger than them, she reminded herself for the millionth time.

"'Case the joint'?" she quoted with a smirk. "Alright," Rora nodded, "I think that girl said something about a meeting, or get together to hash out plans. We might be good to slip out now, what with everyone unpacking and such. all hustle-like, so we'd probably go unnoticed."

Rora considered. No, she hadn't known, but the look on the young doctors' face had been comical. Ugh. She hated doing accents, and it was obviously not a good one that Rora had pulled out. But, if all else failed, her and Hunter had agreed that they'd drop it, giving the excuse that it had been show. "I don't really keep up on files," Rora admtted. "I leave that to Fi. If something's important enough, I get told."

She also knew that she should probably change that habit, what with the coming war they were getting going on. There was a lot of information to be gleaned from someone's past, including whether or not they ought to be trusted.
