Gwen, from her spot by the door, looked over the paper. Sri had been sent on her way which she had plans on speaking with her later. Not to talk about the possible out for a pick up for them but to let her know that crew meetings were for the crew not for passengers and that she would be notified in due course on their destinations for her little.. clients. Most of the information she knew except for the little details that were rather surprising to her. When Cora started to complain she snorted a little as green eyes never left the paper. "I don't think there is much t' worry about there, Cora. Looks like some of us are gonna be changin our looks. Really, Hunter. Blond? and contacts? Please tell me this was at least in th' paperwork before you decided on th' teams." |

Drew chuckled from behind Gwen. "Oh, c'mon, Red - haven't you heard that blondes have more fun?" He coughed. "Before y'all head on out, I need ta have yer characters sign a few things - medically. Before boardin' the Bing Quan ye need a physical from a trained professional, so, since Cora's headin' on out with ye, I'll still be on hand here in case they got any bones ta pick with yer paperwork." |

For the first time Hunter's eye's settled onto Cora's face for long than a brief glance when she objected openly. Just because Jean had a choice didn't mean anyone else did. "Your orders are to accompany the away team by way of the cover held in your hands and help complete our assignment to the best of your abilities Doctor Cardew. The fact that you know the passengers on that ship either personally or by reputation is an invaluable resource for this mission. That combined with your medical expertise and the fact that you are a good looking and in shape woman with extremely good hand eye coordination make you perfect for this spot." He shifted his weight onto one leg, arms crossed over his chest. "Besides, anyone looking for you isn't going to expect to find you performing in a circus now will they? We'll just have to be careful, and put together solid costuming." A sly grin was sent the captains way as she glowered at him slightly. "Hey now, I think you'd look great blond Cap'n. Don't knock it till you try it! Plus, I figure you're the best qualified on anything involving horse back, am I wrong?" Hunter nodded to Drew, he was going to hold down the Cressida when they were gone, and was running the million things they needed done from behind the scenes. If he messed up on even one of them the whole team was in hot water, but Drew worked well under pressure and Hunter trusted he would pull through. |

A luxury cruise vessel? Known for its nightly circus? It actually sounded kind of fun. Living his whole life on Persephone, he had never even seen a circus. The boy started to wonder who it was that needed to be retrieved and why. It was a little surprising to Jean that they actually felt they could trust him, a kid, enough to give him a position on the away team. He nodded towards Hunter. “I don’t know if I’ve got any talent, but I can sure try,” smiling happily at the opportunity to help out, he accepted the papers and looked them over in order to determine what was expected of him. “...Jugglin’?” the boy took a few seconds to try to recall what exactly juggling was. Not a lot of fun happened on Persephone but he was sure he saw someone doing it for fun one time. Yeah, he could definitely try to pull it off. “I saw someone doin’ that before… never tried it myself though. Can’t be too hard,” he continued to look over the other things that he needed to know about his cover. |

"Ain't wrong at all." Green eyes shifted away from the paper as she coughed in to her arm, only looking back toward the room after trying for her voice twice. "Seems we got everything worked out. I'll wanna go over this again with you, Hunter, before th' day is over." Not once did Gwen shift where she stood as she looked at each of her crew in order as they were seated. They were going to get along during this or they were all up a shit creek without a paddle. "Y'all need t' get to workin on these persona's. Leave the Companion t' me- if'n she asks why y'all are doin what you're doin, it's t' cut the boredom of bein' in the Black." When her gaze settled on Jean it seemed he was the only one she had at least a small smile for. "And as for you. If'n you decide you want no part then don't hesitate tellin myself or Hunter here. Okay?" |

"I don't think there is much t' worry about there, Cora. Looks like some of us are gonna be changin our looks." Coralyn was seething, not to mention terrified. Why wouldn't they listen?! She was no actress, she was liable to stutter when she was so much as asked to tell the tiniest lie. Well this was it then, she was going with them, without so much as a decent excuse for why she should hurl herself into the lions den. She’d blindly trust Hunter’s plan, if not the man himself. But if anything at all happened, if she caught so much of a glimpse of anyone she knew, or stumbled in the slightest then they’d be accountable. She’d warned them adequately. “Right. Well if that’s all then good afternoon everyone.” She said quietly, dismissing herself. She’d not asked permission as she’d always done, but she’d had quite enough of being a misery in this room. She was far better off being just as miserable in the MedBay. |

It seemed that this meeting was adjourned. Everyone had their orders and four days to get themselves into character and prepared for one serious hell of an away mission. When Hunter had first seen it he'd been immediately worried. The kind of team you needed to pull this kind of thing off had to be seamless, working together and moving off each other's leads without verbal cues or prior planning. There was too much involved, to many variables to account for and not even a fraction of the time they needed to get ready. So yes, he was worried. This mission would pose real challenge to a highly skilled group that had been working together for years. Cressida's crew was full of cracks and miscommunication; some of it was him and his abrasive personality, but not all of it by far. And for this to be their very first mission together? High command should have given them something like a supply run or a simple trade operation not weak information and an entire luxury cruise liner full of Alliance officials. He hoped like hell Gwen was right and the people she had collected were really as exceptional as she believed; because if not all the threats she had made about dumping him out the airlock if something went wrong on this trial as First Mate were the very least of his worries. "I'll let ya'll get to it then. I'll be in my bunk for a while if anyone needs further clarification." He collected up the pages he'd been pouring over and headed for the door, Hunter still needed to hack out the general escape and then the specifics of everything. It was going to be a long couple of days. |

Fi glared after the new second in command. She was going to kill him and mount him somewhere very visible so everyone would know her wrath. Stretchy sequined material. She gave a slight shudder as she turned her head to the side to raise an eyebrow at Tom. He'd know exactly how she felt. He usually did. |
