Hey guys, friendly neighborhood MOD team here. A few of you active tonight/this morning (10/17-18) might have noticed that the cbox was having some issues. They have since been resolved, but it has been discovered that to keep the chat box from doing this again (ie making it auto-refresh,) its going to cost us about 2 bucks a month. Roughly about 20 bucks a year. Please vote on whether or not it stays. It is up to the membership. If y'all want it, and are going to continue to use it and believe that its a good feature....we can work something out. Otherwise, well, the "otherwise" part I think is pretty obvious.  lolAnyways, please vote, and this will also count as an unofficial "Im Here!" muster, so after you have voted, please post saying that you are here, and that you voted. I'm still here! While I really like the cbox, I don't have money to help with it. Is it just the cbox site that's making you pay or zetaboards? Because if it is the cbox site, I'm sure there are other ones out there that are still free. |

For auto-refresh, where we don't have to reload the page or box to check for messages, it's $20 for a year. They would deduct $2 a month for it. Which looks like what Steph had been doing and once the year ran out, cbox died. SO.. it's really up to y'all. |

I'm a little confused. Are you going to get rid of the Cbox entirely ("We can stick to PM's.")? I don't think the auto-refresh is worth 20$/year, but we can easily just hit the refresh button manually for free. This is the only RP board I've been on that uses the auto-refresh.

Why don't you just go to chatango.com . You can make an account for free and the chatbox that you would post in place of this one would auto refresh and stuffs. |

I'll take a look at that page either tonight after work or tomorrow. Steph has a certain graphic made for the cbox we have now.. even if I had to make new font colors and stuff.. so I may have to look at making a new one for a new box. Thanks for the link! |
