Even with the two Alliance soldiers standing beside of her ships ramp, Gwen stomped her way up the metal ignoring the looks the two men were giving her. They had been there when she and Drew had arrived just in time to keep Jonathan from arresting Fi and Rora. What look the Captain had painted across her face was enough to keep them from saying a word as she stormed by them. Once she had reached the top of the ramp her hand slammed down on the button kicking the ships intercom system on. "Jay, Nate, Drew, and Adrian to the meeting room. Now." Gwen didn't even look in the infirmary as she stepped close to it where the meeting room was. She didn't want to deal with the two women yet. Her head was pounding enough as it was that she was going to have to hit Drew up for something after they all discussed what was going down. It was not going to be pretty. |

Jay was in the galley with Fi when the call came. He was more than a little buzzed and the bottle of whiskey had disappeared, as well as Fi's Tequila.....oh yeah, the Saki was gone too. He burst through the hatch to the meeting room and dropped into one of the padded chairs, putting his bottle on the table and pouring himself another shot, scowling up at Gwen. She had interrupted a much needed "drink the girl/pain away" session that he and Fi had been running. "Whaddis it this time Cap'n?" He wasn't so drunk as to be without his senses, he could still put a bullet between the eyes of anyone that needed it, combat training and muscle memory would do that, but he was just drunk enough not to give two licks bout much of anything at the moment. He wondered what else Fi had in her stash, and when this meeting would be over so he could return to the galley. |

Fi had waited all of 2 minutes before deciding that she should be in the meeting as well. Given between her concussion and as much booze as she'd had it likely wasn't the best idea. Still. She had taken hold of her half filled fifth of spiced rum and made her wobbling way through the ship to the meeting room. When she'd gotten to the doorway she'd eyeballed the new guy and shoved the messy braids hanging down the front of her shoulders back. She took a seat beside Jay and shrugged a bit, scratching a chunk of dried blood off her abdomen before lowering herself carefully into the chair. She still hadn't bothered to close the [urlhttp://www.polyvore.com/fi/set?id=12654864]hoodie[/url] and it showed off her bandaged rips and bruised abdomen. She was looked a mess and felt like hell. "Couldn't let ya'll have all the fun now," She informed Jay with a smirk. She was a bit more faded than he was, but then she was a lot smaller and had a concussion. Didn't mean she couldn't take out anyone trying to get one of her people. Edited by Seraphina Grant, Oct 9 2009, 01:11 AM.

Jay chuckled. Fi was toasted. This meeting was looking up. "Glad to see yah made it. We have unfinished business after this." His words were supposed to be in a whisper, but came out in more of what higher society would refer to as a stage whisper. That being said, he turned back to the Cap'n, waiting for her to speak. He threw back another shot for good measure. |

Not one to let Jay outdo her Fi too took another drink, smiling and nodding in agreement. They'd have to finish the rest of the alcohol once he was done with this. Of course they couldn't finish all the alcohol she had hidden, but they could certainly make a hell of a dent. |

Drunk. They were both drunk. Now, Gwen liked to drink now and then and rarely did the captain ever let herself get shitfaced like these two were. All the stars in heaven! Gwen didn't know if she wanted to yell and scream at them both or cry. It was a very deep breath that the red head took, leveling a very even look at both of them. It was as disapproving as she could get without throwing something at both of them or that damned bottle off her ship. "We have the gorram Alliance standing right outside our ship and more expected here tomorrow. And you both are drinking?" And that damned bottle. Stalking over toward the table Gwen reached out hoping to snatch it away from her First Mate. Near empty- just the two of them drinking how much? Maybe she was slacking on her duties as a captain allowing her crew to get to close in relationships and to her. "Seraphina Faith Grant. Out. Now. I'll deal with you and Aurora later." Jay jerked the bottle out of Gwen's reach, almost falling on the deck in the process. "Get your own Gwen." he slurred. He sat back up. "We gonna be jawin' here bout shiny things, cause me an' Fi were having a meetin' of our own, and its a hellofah more interesting one than this." |

Fi scowled at her captain when she used her full name. "Self Defense," She bit out in aggravation. Why was everyone blaming this whole debacle on her? She didn't do it! Ok, she might of killed 3 of them, and likely the other three didn't live through the explosion, but you know what? She couldn't of let Rora deal with it all on her own. She simply wasn't wired that way. "Seriously Cap'n, I was in no way responsible this time! Everybody just keeps snapping at me and asking what I did, and glaring at me. It. Wasn't. Me." She jutted her chin out mulishly and snatched the bottle of whiskey that she had set on the floor and wobbled toward that door. "Jay I'm heading back to the Galley, join me if you'd like," Edited by Seraphina Grant, Oct 9 2009, 12:39 AM.

Have a look of disappointment. The number of times that Gwendolyn had ever used them while being on the ship were very far and few between, but there she was watching two of her most trusted crew members. Disappointment. It was a horrible feeling. Turning her head away from the drunk man sitting at the table, Gwen stuffed her hands in to her pockets. "You're dismissed, Andhek. I have no time to deal with you being drunk off your ass right now. There is a ship to run. A crew to protect." Hopefully Nathanial and Drew would show. There was no way in hell she was going to be able to come up with a plan on her own and make it work. |

As Drew was stepping into the room, he snatched the bottles out of Fi and Jay's hands, giving them both glares. "Fi. You want to die? I'd rather not have to operate on you. Again." He tossed her bottle into the bin, and it made a tinkling noise. "Andhek. You know the gorram situation. Get on a straight head. There're things more important than your botched relationship. People're dyin' out there." His bottle followed Fi's, and the sound of broken glass was distinctly louder this time. Drew was covered in dried blood and dirt, looking worse for the wear. "Sorry, Red. I was helpin' out in the field, only just got yer page." Edited by Drew Lancaster, Oct 9 2009, 01:00 AM.

"Sorry Gwen, I'll give you a full report tomorrow when I'm no longer bloody, drunk, or overly confused from the concussion," Fi promised, feeling bad when she saw the look on the captains face. She had nothing but respect for the redhead and hated disappointing her, but seriously. This time it really hadn't been her fault. "And I'm just about done with the disk," Course she wouldn't be working in that tonight either. She smiled a bit as she unscrewed the lid of the rum and took a gulp as she walked out, reveling in the burn. The bottle was then ripped out of her hand and thrown against the wall by a livid Drew. She wobbled up to him and poked him hard in the chest. "I'm not on meds and not drinking enough to get alcohol poisoning. I'm covered in other peoples blood, have a headache the size of Persephone and my best friend is in the Med Bay. I might be arrested at any moment because I killed at least 3 men on my day off and you know what, I feel pretty lousy about that because they were just bully boys for hire. So if you don't mind, I'm gonna go with my friend Jay here back to my bunk and drink a bit more," She turned on her heel and almost lost her balance but managed to grab hold of Jay's arm first before she stalked off, dragging him along with her. "Well thankie kindly Cap'n." Jay said, saluting her with his other bottle as he caught a stumbling Fi. He almost punched Drew in the face....or rather anywhere he would have connected. That was good liquor he just broke against the wall. Thankfully, it had been almost gone anyways. No big loss. Fi dragged him away before he could do anything...rash. He knew that there would be hell to pay for this little performance later, maybe even his job, but his mind in its current state didnt care. He followed Fi back to the Galley. "No, Fi, you're not covered in your own gorram blood - still not sure how you did that - but, rather, you were bleeding internally. Don't make me give you a gorram blood transfusion." He said these words darkly. He swiped a hand across his tired face after they left, moving to stand facing Gwen. What was going to be the next bombshell? |

Nathaniel stepped aside to allow Jay and Fi to totter out of the meeting room. He wasn't surprised when he caught a whiff of alcohol as they passed. Hurrying inside, he took a seat at the long table. He still didn't know the full story of what was going on, but there were two Alliance men outside the ship, Aurora was in the infirmary, and Jay and Fi were drunk, so something was definitely up. Hopefully he'd find out in this meeting and get to do something about it. Nathaniel placed his arms on the table, resting his chin on his folded fingers, his eyes flicking from Drew to the Captain. "What's up, Captain?" He asked, a little wary. She looked mad enough to strangle a puppy. |

The captain said nothing as Drew trashed the bottles that both Fi and Jay had. What was there to say? Both had said enough in the last few seconds that it was gonna take a while to get back in her good graces. With her hands planted on the tabletop the stared down at the wooden surface before she turned slightly watching Nate enter soon after and sit down. Adrian was still missing but, then again, she hadn't seen him since they landed. It was possible he might have jumped ship too and right then she wouldn't blame him. "All right. We need to think fast if we're gonna save Fi and Rora's asses. Which, I will tell you both, right now I have half a mind to let that gorram wú qíng de qīngwā cào de liúmáng take them." Sucking in a deep breath Gwen slowly stood back upright stuffing her hands in to her pockets. "Big Brother is also gonna be coming on the boat at 0600 tomorrow. All ships in dock are landlocked and are required to participate in the search for the man who blew the plant up. Locals and Feds seem to think he's a former Browncoat. I'm hoping to get more information tomorrow about him." |

Drew swiped a hand across his face. Why was it every single time they went planetside, things went to dìyù? "I'm thinking, two options." Drew sighed. "I could tell the feds that they died. Give 'em byphodine. Make 'em look dead, need ta take 'em to their home planets, bury 'em with their families. Though that's a mite dangerous given Rora's current condition." And with that, he let the idea drop. "Rather not pull the second one," he said grimly. *fixed code mistakes-MODS Edited by Jay Andhek, Oct 12 2009, 01:20 PM.

Okay, so he wasn’t called down to the meeting, obviously, he was just some random kid. But the boy’s childlike curiosity resulted in him following Nate to where the captain and the others were. He figured if they didn’t want him there, then they’d just tell him to leave and that would be the end of that. But at the moment, Jean just really wanted to know what was going on. Both Jay and Fi had come stumbling out of the room that he saw Nathaniel walk into. He wondered why they looked as if they were so off balance. Nearing the door, he noticed three people in the meeting room, even though he remembered hearing over the intercom more names than that. The preteen stepped into the room quietly; he was worried about the events that had happened that day. He could see that people were injured, and others were stressed, but it was still a mystery to him as to why. Staying near the doorway like he had at dinner the day before, it comforted him slightly, plus he was closer to it if they wanted him to leave. Jean said nothing as he stood there, he just listened, the captain was talking with the others and it sounded serious. |

Drew watched the youngin' step into the meeting room, and his response was slower than it might have been normally, were the situation not so...irritating, which was saying something, because Drew had gone through a great deal; the war counted for a lot. "Hey, buddy," Drew said, moving to him. "'Fraid this conversation ain't fer yer young'n ears. Why'n don't you go keep Aurora some company down in the MedBay? Cora's probably still down there, too; maybe you can talk 'em into a game of sorts." ((I'm starting a fresh thread in the MedBay for you. ))
