Fi raised an eyebrow. "I'm not the one pussyfooting around feelings and stuff," She reminded him, pouring them another shot and slamming it back. "And I do beleive I'm the one pouring the shots," She added with a grin, wondering if she maybe she have gone and checked on Tom and let him check on her. |

"You're pouring the shots, cause I started drinking out of the bottle a while back now Miss Grant." Jay snarked, grabbing the bottle out of her hand and pouring shots for the both of them, pushing hers towards her, and throwing back both of his. "I aint pussyfooting about Fi, I asked her to marry me remember. Man does something like that....big plunge that." |

Fi snorted as she downed her shot. "Man always thinks he's got a big plunge," She said in her driest tone, taking the bottle back and drinking straight from it. "Honestly I think that half your problem is that your ego took a mighty big hit and so your sitting here acting like some sort of victim." She took another drink and then poured them both shots. "Man up. What you need to do is just tell her she should be appreciatin' you and then show her just how much she needs it," |

Jay tossed back the shot. She was right. He had to leave the boat, to see to the ranch for a spell, but he made up his mind about what he was going to do about Rora. But, before he could act on anything or talk to Fi about his plan the 1MC sounded with Gwen's voice booming over the speakers. Jay was in NO condition to go to a meeting. He stood and his head swam. Going shot for shot with Fi on top of the stress and an empty stomach had not been the best of plans in hind-site. "You comin?" |

Fi raised an eyebrow as she watched him head off a little ahead of her. "Can't let you go on your lonesome, wouldn't sit right," Fi agreed, making her stumbling way after him. It took less than 20 minutes for them to stumble back to the galley, Fi being half supported by Jay. She had convinced him to let her stop off at her bunk for more rum (not that it wasn't hard) so they were each gripping a bottle and making their wobbly way back to the galley on the off chance that someone else might like to join them. "This is definitely more fun than sitting in a meeting," Edited by Seraphina Grant, Oct 9 2009, 02:42 PM.

"Aint...it...just!" Jay slurred. He laughed as they sat back down again. "Cap'n looked like she was gonna birth a cow right there!" |

Tom was not in a good mood after today. He thought he had been doing a good deed, the only one he'd probably do all year. When he had seen the two girls injured, he had tried to help them and things had spiraled out of control quickly. Then, to add on top of it, breaking his wrist was something that he had not planned or even though would have happened. So, after his wrist had been put in a cast, he was still in a foul mood and he had stormed back to his bunk. He was the pilot and now, it would hard to fly the ship with one hand. He spent time in his bunk before he was too bored with that. He started to prowl around the ship and decided that he was going to go to the galley. What he found down there amused him, but still didn't alleviate the mood he was in. "What do we have here?" He plopped down in the chair. "Is there enough for me to join?" he muttered. |

Fi raised an eyebrow, looking over him like he was some sort of delicious dish. "Always room for yourself far's I'm concerned." She uncapped the bottle and poured three shots, shoving one toward Tom and another toward Jay, "And since I'm the one supplying the booze, guess you're mighty welcome." She raised the glass high in the air before swallowing it down and grinning over at the tall pilot. |

Jay smiled and raised his glass. "TOM! Sit man! Sit." he bellowed. "Always room for another." |

He wondered briefly on how long the two of them had been down here, but he didn't worry about it as he grasped the shot that was pushed his way. "Good," he said, smirking at both Fi and Jay's response when he asked to join. It was obvious to him that they were drunk and most of what was going through Tom's mind was why in the 'verse he had not been invited to join this little party, if it could be call that. He down the shot quickly and put the glass back down on the table. "So what the occasion?" he asked with a good amount of sarcasm. |

Jay raised an eyebrow. Did there have to be an occasion. He didn't rightly think so, and he told the pilot as much. |

Fi snorted in a rather unlady-like fashion that would likely have made Martha and the little doctor both frown but she didn't actually care. "We're celebrating lots of stuff. The destruction of an innocent factory, my early escape from the med bay, Jay's broken heart, the almost relationship that we have going on," Fi downed another shot and smiled over at the tall well muscled man. "I'm kind of thinking I should be celebrating your broken wrist as well. You'll have to spend less time on the bridge which means I can get you to spend more time in my bed ... well I can spend more time in your bed, yours is bigger," She nodded and poured everyone more alcohol. She admitted she was rather tipsy, but she was still conscious and able to walk, albeit not in any kind of straight line. |

"Well, of course there doesn't have to be one," he replied to Jay. He downed another shot when Fi had poured more alcohol. Wow, he was not nearly drunk enough for her to start mention what ever they had was. He was not sure he really wanted to discuss this all now. He scowled and rolled his eyes. "We don't need to celebrate my wrist." The scowl changed into a small smirk. "Well, that might be the upside to it." He pushed his glass closer. "I need more." |

She scowled at his smirk when he told her he needed more. "Poor word choice, it's a good thing I know you don't need it to invite me into your sheets," She remarked as she poured all three of them refills. The scowl quickly turned into a smirk as she tilted her head to the side. "You know you can't get enough of me," |

This was a little uncomfortable and if there was not alcohol here, he probably would have stood up and walked away. He was not someone to talk about his feelings, although this whole relationship thing did need to be addressed, but he did not think that time was now. First, there was alcohol involved. Second, Jay was sitting right here. How many other people here were going to know about Tom and Fi? "Uh... yeah. How about we discuss us later and not here?" he asked, downing another shot. |

Fi laughed out loud at the sudden uncomfortable look on his face. She'd been teasing and this was exactly the kind of response she loved from Tom. Pressing his buttons was generally something that ended up making them both very happy. She poured them all another round of shots and sucked it down before pulling off her sweatshirt with slightly pained groan. She didn't care that she was in a sports bra, not like they cared either. 'Sides it covered more than most bathing suits and her ribs were covered in ugly bandages. Alcohol made her get overly warm and the sweatshirt wasn't helping. "Every time we try to discuss it something comes up." She shrugged lightly and poured more alcohol. She'd just get him trashed so he'd admit he liked her at least a little. |

Jay didnt miss a beat. "That sounds like a personal problem Fi." He sported a shit-eating grin. He turned back to Tom. "In all seriousness....whats wrong with here Tom..." Jay asked innocently, downing another shot of his own. "Its not like its a secret or anything. The WHOLE crew knows you two are involved. There is a running bet on when you would put a label on it." Now that last bit was partially true.....there was a bet. Jay had invented it just now. He was winning. Edited by Jay Andhek, Oct 9 2009, 04:52 PM.

Fi scowled at Jay and took a long gulp of the liquid. Her eyes narrowed as she contemplated the likelihood of there being a bet on board that she didn't know about it. She dismissed the idea completely, Jay was probably teasing Tom and Fi didn't actually mind. Besides, all the old crew DID know about them. They'd been caught more than once sneaking into each others bunks or making out somewhere around the ship. Gwen had caught them cuddling just the day before, though they rarely did such things and she knew the redhead wouldn't say anything. Though she'd been hinting at something more ... damn her green eyes. She poured another shot and mumbled a few choice curses as she downed the burning liquid. |

Tom down the next shot. The sooner he was drunk, the better he would be. He shrugged his shoulders at her comment about every time they tried to discuss it, something came up. "So? It's still not a good time." He did not want to discussed this now. He looked over at Jay and scowled even more. "Whoever started that bet, I swear, I'll kill them." He knew nothing was ever totally secret when it came to relationships since they were all on this ship the entire time. The crew would find things out, but he thought it was more of just a physical pleasure thing back then and didn't think the crew had a bet on them. |

Jay threw back another one and looked at Tom with a look of mock seriousness. "I started it...just now. I'm winning by the way." He gestured with the bottle. "Y'all owe me 10 credits..." |
