[title]Physical Description[/title]
Height: 5'5"
Build: Fighter-like, muscular but slender.
Hair Color: Dark brown, but dyed blonde.
Eye Color: Honey brown
Noticeable Features:
Though at first Echo looks almost too skinny, she is actually quite muscular. She is extremely fit, and the curve of her body is extremely natural, and, being slightly short, her curves are that much more defined.

With a sugar-sweet smile, a sarcastic attitude, Echo can win over pretty much anyone, or can terrify them with only a look. She has a body that's 'built like a brick shithouse' as her brother said.

Echo has a fleur de lis tattoo on her left shoulderblade, and a scar on her right forearm. (tattoo was her own personal symbol of independence; scar was from a scuffle with a very drunk man who happened to have a knife when she was working at the strip club (a, she wouldn't completely strip, b, she wouldn't sleep with him))

[title]Psyche Evolution[/title]

Being the youngest of thirteen children didn't grow Echo with the greatest amount of self-esteem. She overcame the hurt inflicted by her mother's neglect, however, by the time her twin was married, and, she feels, became a better woman because of it, even after his death.

Echo quickly became extremely headstrong, but with a heart that was kind, though not naive. She could very easily get along with little children, and, at the same time, talk down and get along with hardened Browncoat Army men.

Many assume her body and her hair (dyed blonde) mean she's a ditz and easy. They get a very nasty surprise when she pulls a knife on them or just breaks their jaw with her fist. Striking out so young on her own has made her very smart where men of all kind are concerned.

Overall, she's a sweetheart with an attitude that is adorably lovable.

[title]Personal Records[/title]

Echo grew up on one of the most beautiful worlds in the 'verse, but that hardly means life was easy. Her mother and father, Laramie and Josphae, married at a very young age, when they were only 16. Despite that, they didn't start having children until ten years later.

Josphae worked as a CEO at one of the many factories in New Dunsmuir, ironically, one to reverse the bad affect the other factories caused on the rich planet. He made enough to support a large family and not have to have his wife work.

They had a total of thirteen children before Josphae died, along with their intake of money. Laramie became bitter, and Echo was more raised by her elder siblings than her actual mother.

Going from rich to destitute within only a few months, Laramie became concentrated on marrying off her children, if only to keep herself alive. Echo was the youngest, the thirteenth child - unlucky. Laramie paid no attention to her, and so didn't bother trying to marry her off, even after her twin brother was married at fifteen.

So, the day after her twin's wedding, Echo packed her bags, and moved into a tiny studio apartment above a strip club, and became an exotic dancer. Though she was offered often, she never took the step to becoming a whore. There was only one way to take that path, and she couldn't afford it, neither did she really want to.

It was crap living, but it was living.

When she was twenty two, Echo was offered a rare opportunity to join the local flight academy. She'd taken a free aptitude test months earlier, but had never truly thought it would turn into anything; but she had passed with flying colors, and now, apparently, the Alliance wanted her.

Echo wasn't sure how to respond. She had issues with the Alliance; her father had died, which she didn't remember, but her eldest sister, Kayla, had told her plenty about why her family was the way it was.

Ultimately, Echo decided it was a good idea to spend her savings on the flight academy - it was a trade she'd have far beyond her dancing days (which she was growing tired of, anyway).

For a while after graduating four years later, she worked on an Alliance ship, running for a top secret headquarters they called the Academy. Being merely the Pilot of the ship, Echo wasn't allowed the information, but when she heard news of a young man being put on the ship, shot by Alliance in a "friendly fire incident," they landed on Verbena, Echo quit.

It had been none other than her own twin brother. She hadn't had contact with him for over a year, but the effect of seeing him dead screwed with her emotions more than she'd hoped. Echo didn't cry, but built up a resolute wall.

She promptly found a job at a strip joint again, but headed to the docks every day to see if a more friendly ship was looking for a crew member - of the flying persuasion or not.
