Name: Stevie (though I've been wonder-girl for almost as long) Contact: steviewndrgrl (gmail, yahoo, aim) Age: 23 Major: Fashion Design (minor in World Philosophy) Fandoms: Joss is my Idol. I also geek out over Gilmore Girls, Dr. Who, Eureka, Hex, MASH, Neil Gaiman, Mercedes Lackey, S.L. Viehl, Redwall, Tamora Pierce, Josephine Wall, Anne McCaffrey, Veronica Mars, Harry Potter, and so much much more including (but not limited to) Comic Books, Manga, Novels, Poets, Artists, TV shows, and Movies. Characters: Andromeda "Andi" Troy, River Tam, Seraphing "Fi" Grant, Maxwell "Max" Caldwell Roleplaying: I've been RPing since I was like ... 5? 6? My mom thought that it was good, after reading a book to all of us, to have all of us choose a character and act like them in the book-verse for a while every day. Said it stimulated the imagination. She's crazed but I love her. I do online (since I was 17,) one on one and tabletop (since I was 10.) Favorite Firefly Characters: A tie between Jayne and Wash though River and Zoe come a close second Shameless Geekdom: I write Fanfiction (oh baby.) I am addicted to watching fan music videos on youtube. Also, kind of addicted to Tattoos. I have 3 and am getting another when I go to Hawaii in May and another one after that. Blurb from Me: Hey everyone out there. I assume you've noticed my random rambling from time to time. I'm a crazed artist with an over-active imagination, serious audiophile tendencies and a lot of energy. I'm constantly doing 3 things at once and am always moving. I work overnight as a nursing assistant 3 days a week and 2 days a week I work overnight at Target, once a week during the day I volunteer at an animal rescue shelter and in between all that I make semi-formal gowns and figure skating costumes. I got nicknamed Stevie at 2 because my brothers couldn't say Stephanie and I refused to be called Sissy, Wondergirl came a few years later from a cousin because I was always singing and I had an obsession with Stevie Wonder, only I was a girl so I became Wondergirl. I'm also way to white to be Stevie Wonder *shrugs* half Apache half Irish, I have a nasty temper but I don't bite often. Promise. I live in Seattle, and I love it because music is everywhere, art is everywhere and I like puddle hopping, so rain is a plus. I also like the ocean, so yeah. |

A fellow Tamora Pierce Fan!!! Wooo!!! Dude, you guys are seriously making my day, LoL. I love the Immortals Series - Daine is my idol. Mostly because I have the curly, frizzy hair and the storm-blue eyes. No joke. I'm hoping to be her at a RenFaire soon - my best friend is going as Link. *snark* No joke. ^^ |

My brother and sister couldn't say Stephanie, either! Thus I was called 'Nana' for years... I have to say, that activity your mom cooked up sounds like so much fun. I use to do that as a child, but - you know - by myself, in the backyard, where no one could see me. I wish my parents had done that sort of thing. |

Sarah: Yeah, I love Daine too, I feel for her because I too have the dark crazy curls!!! Only my eyes or more of a reddish brown (mom calls the root beer eyes. Hold root beer up to the light and you'll see.) I think my favorite character would have to be Ally though. Steph: We did it in the backyard, in the house, wherever. Mom's the one that inspired me to go into fashion design by teaching me how to sew costumes for my brothers and sister and our cousins. I think my favorite was playing Elfquest. Especially 'cause my uncle had a pure bred timberwolf. Tanka was awesome. ALSO!!!! I firmly beleive everyone should watch Foamy the Squirrel. |

Actually as of January 12 I am now 24, so that's been updated. My major has been changed from Fashion Design to Television and Cinematic Costume Design. Though Fashion is still my minor. It shall be fun. I'm up to four and a half tattoos. I have a large bouquet of daffodils between my shoulder blades and it's mostly done but there's gonna be some shading done out from the flowers soon. I keep threatening to Tattoo Pinky and The Brain somewhere on me as well, just too irritate my mom but I don't think I'll ever do it. All of my tattoos stand for people that I love. Images rather than names, it's nice. |
