A Company To Trust
The guidelines set out here are meant to keep things running smoothly, but for the most part we just assume members know enough to behave and mod themselves. Iron fists are overly priced, even on ebay, and we'd rather not go investing in one with the economy the way it is at the moment.

[blockquote]Mature Content
Members should be mature enough that exposure to language, violence, sexual situations, more violence, and all sorts of moral grayness shouldn't bother them. We don't restrict posted content, expect to say that it should be interesting and well-written.

Behavior
Even if you hate one another with a fervor, we hold members to the not-so-high expectation that they will at least pretend to be civil with others or, failing that, will ignore each other and not drag their personal feelings into public.

Character Creation
Here is the general rule: after your first two characters, we want at least a week and maybe more to see that you are responsible enough at posting with the characters you have now to take on more. Beyond that, limit is to be self implied. Please register with your characters first and last name.

Activity
There is no simpler way of stating it than that. We know we run with an older crowd and are often contending with school, work, and social lives of our players. Still, when the plot gets going and you're in the thick of it, only to take off on us, than we're in trouble. We're looking for something like a post a week, not even always in character, just something to let us know you're still around and interested.

Style
Posts and the character profile should be written in third person narration, limited and past tense. They should be in proper English (or passable Chinese), not some weird internet language with symbols and random spacing. If you want to bold or italicize your speech/Chinese, that is alright by us, although we do ask that (with in character posts) you don't mess with the color/sizing of the font too much, as there are a couple of layouts on the board and what is readable in one might not be in the other.

C-Box
The C-Box, despise being out of character, is an extension of the board. As such, it is assumed you will continue letting your intelligence and maturity shine through, even in the chat.

[title]Posting Format[/title]

[blockquote]TITLE: The Title (Notice it isn't ''~T H E [Ti]Tle~")

SUBTITLE: Location (Ariel, Station 43-7B, Engine Room...) You do not have to include if it is open or not. We're going to assume, well, you're on a ship and anyone could walk in at any moment. It's nothing but open.

POST: This would be the actual content of your post. While our steadfast rule for posting is "keep it interesting", some people might have fun checking out our helpful roleplaying tips guide that basically covers probably the same thing you hear all the time in the roleplaying community, and is therefore not required reading but remains up and open for those who want to utilize it. Plus, I got very bored. [/blockquote]
