Here's the twitter account to a short film that Matthew shot sometime in 2012. Looks like some of the scenes were shot in his house.

This film will have a screening at he inaugural Monadnock International Film Festival in Keene, New Hampshire. And it has been approved to be screened at the New Media Film Festival in Los Angeles, June 11th and 12th.
Tickets to the latter are free. The link should have a way to order the tickets according to one of the people on my forum.

I hope so!
I wonder if some of my other friends will get to go. I have a friend who goes by DisneyLover and another friend who goes by Beatlesfan. I think both of them were thinking of attending.

It turns out that Matthew was filming CM Friday evening so couldn't make it to New Hampshire for the festival screening Saturday morning. I feel bad for the folks that went there just to see him. Still, judging from the twitter feed it seems some fans had a good time with the writer or director of the film. The Learning Curve won the award for best fan choice or something like that.

The sad news is, Matthew let the film festival know like 4 days in advance that he wouldn't make it and they didn't notify people about his cancellation. Some of the people didn't find out until just before the panel for the film. IIRC, it won best film or something at the festival though.

There were some angry people who trashtalked Matthew on Twitter because he made a comment about a movie and they assumed he went out to a movie that night instead of filming. But his filming could have conflicted with any flight plans. I believe some airports now require people to show up 2 hours before departure in order to get on the flight. He might have been filming then- or been on call in case the scenes went long.

It's a pity, but apparently people liked the film.

Yes, the organizers were jerks for not telling people ahead of time. Some people are saying it was incompetence and others said it might have been deliberate so that more people would come.
