Season 7 Episode 13

Title: Snake Eyes

Director: Doug Aarniokoski

Writer: Bruce Zimmerman

Airdate: February 8, 2012

Synopsis: The BAU tries their luck in Atlantic City when the team is called in to investigate a series of ritualistic casino-related murders. Also, after a spat with her boyfriend, Kevin, Garcia thinks she and Morgan may have gotten a little too friendly with each other.

Guest stars: Dean Cain, Nicholas Brendon

(Su's notes: I hope they put Reid's Las Vegas gambling skills to work somehow, and I also hope we find out what Prentiss meant by her "sin to win" weekend-- although I highly suspect she just meant gambling)

I didn't watch CM last night as it was a repeat but I remembered at the last minute to see if there was a preview. I just caught a snippet and it was of Reid at a gambling table. It looked like he was playing against the Dean Cain character. It just happened so fast that I'm not exactly sure. I should have taped the last few minutes. Didn't think of it until afterwards. I hope someone puts it online soon. Kind of getting excited for this episode.

BTW it was the CTV promo.

I wish I could find the CTV promo. The US one only has Morgan all wet in a towel. ick. I'm not a fan of overly muscular men.
I'll have to look around and hope someone posts the CTV one.
Thanks for the US version, Harley.

I just saw another promo for this on CTV and it did not have Reid this time. It had Prentiss, Hotch and Rossi. I'm beginning to wonder if I just imagined Reid in a casino with cards in his hands looking at Dean Cain. :(

Ya know, this episode would only be known as the one with the wet, shirtless Shemar. The writer might as well write a stupid plotline and save the Emmy-winning efforts because all people will remember is the shirtless Morgan. :D

You didn't just imagine! I have to say I didn't like this episode as much as the previous one. Garcia and Morgan thing... I hope CM won't into a soap opera...
To be more spesific I didn't like the plot but I didn't like how Reid was looking and that he was manhandled. :naughty:
He's looking better and better! crazylove

I didn't like it because it felt like the BAU was too slow to pick up on who the unsub was.
As soon as he killed the hooker, they would have picked him out quickly from the multitudes of surveillance cameras when he was talking to her for a long time at the table. It seemed like he went on killing in plain sight of cameras for a long time before they caught on.
The best part was Reid going undercover as a gambler. Somehow he couldn't pull off a James Bcnd coolness but it was cute, nevertheless. The Garcia/Morgan thing was meh. For a sharp profiler, it made Morgan look like a dummy, clueless about women.

Meh! Not good but not bad either. Loved Reid in this episode but could he have been any more obvious in pressing the alert button? Why was it only Hotch, Prentiss, Morgan and Agent Goslin that were covering the front and back of the private casino when Reid was in there. No undercover police or fbi field agents to help out. There must have been plenty of time to assemble them as Hotch and Prentiss were in that equipped truck. The cops only showed up after Dean Cain got away. Didn't like the final confrontation scene that much, with Rossi taking off his vest and gun to confront the unsub. Also J.J being the sharpshooter while Hotch and Prentiss just stood in the street, again with no police or other agents nearby. Not that I don't think J.J is not capable, it just seemed odd to me. And no one went to cover the back door. I didn't mind the Morgan/Garcia scenes that much as it was better than I thought it would be. The highlights for me were Reid in the casino staring down DC and the math poker scene. For some reason I love Emily's "Chips are things" line. As always I thought that there was too much unsub and not enough team. But good news! cm set report has posted the chat it had with the writer.

:run red: :run red: :run red: The writer said that there will be episode(s) where it is more team and less unsub. He also said that MGG's episode is going to be spooky. I love spooky! And he also said that he would love Betty White to be an unsub. I've been wishing that for quite some time too!
