i'm as you Mirrui, when Matthew was in Monaco, i was more 1000 kms form him, and i thonked " we are on the same country (Monaco and France are brothers and sisters, the Grimaldi's anscestors was from Normandie, Prince Albert came in St Lô in spring about the anniversary of Normandie 911-2011 by William the Conquest or Heros)

if i knowed the Matthew' Paris dates may be i was in Paris but it was a private travel!

Gotta love a guy who loves dinosaurs. On a side note, Josh Groban apparently knows songs about dinosaurs. He and Matthew should meet and compare notes.

Apparently there is going to be a silent auction and Matthew will be bringing a couple of his paintings.

Here's a better look at his paintings. I love Edna Pennybone.

What's wrong with digging for dinos? Paleontology is a well-respected field. Unfortunately it doesn't have cool fictional characters like Indian Jones to promote it.
As a kid I wanted to grow up to be a Paleontologist or Paleobiologist...

Awww, how sweet of Matthew to donate two of his paintings.
But one of them isn't unique....as in one of a kind, there's actually 16 of them,of which I have number 6.
Posted Image
I had always wondered if he had not sold all 16 of them at his Sept.2008 art show so now I know he kept at least one.
I wonder as with most artists, they hate to give up their "babies" but if they do, they know exactly which home they went to. Back in Feb. at UCLA, my sister was amazed that he said he remembered me. But I was amazed that he remembered I had bought "Lessor Known Dinosaurs (Pictured here on Scraps of Wallpaper)". :faint:
So that made me feel that he is attached to his creations. That's very generous of him to offer some for a charity auction.
Edna Pennybone is an interesting creation. She has quite a... erm..... rack and a very bodacious one at that. ROTFL
Hope she goes to a loving new home of someone who has an eye for beautiful and brainy women. :D

Hope he digs up some exciting dino bones maybe even a new glowworm variant of a species. Well, they are
lesser known, aren't they???
