I was wondering if changing coffee to tea had something to do with Reid's storyline, not MGG thing. It was so outstanding, "Look I'm having a tea!" First standing there for a while with the teabags and then sipping it. Espacially since the tea mug seemed to be empty. And too small for an actual tea mug. Healthier lifestyle? I liked the episode too. Not one of the best ones but enjoyable. After all it had some nice Reid moments and that's pretty much all an enjoyable episode needs! |

yeah, that was interesting that Reid now understands enough Russian to see a movie in that language. He was totally clueless in Honor Among Thieves so I like to think that dealing with the Russian mafia made him study that language in the past 4 years. He does at least read in other languages. In the episode where he didn't know what Twilight was , he indicated that he read technical books in other languages. He may be self-taught and not able to speak it with all the colloquialisms that native speakers have. And I did like that the writer had Morgan talk to Prentiss about something being wrong. I hate it when the team is so oblivious to each other. It doesn't promote the "family" feeling among them. Plus, Reid shows absolutely no sign of his headaches. It disappeared until who knows when it'll be address again. Can anyone see if he's wearing the bracelet still from the guy???? I can't watch it in HD when I'm taping it.I really like how Matthew can run off all those technical terms so fast and sound like he really know what he's talking about. That is true talent!!!

I don't think he's been wearing the bracelet but I'll look again. I wonder if maybe he doesn't actually understand Russian all that well and was hoping Prentiss might translate a bit for him (or perhaps he was lying outright and wanted to spend time with her). I think he probably figured out she was stressed and he knows he was stressed so he figured they could both go watch a long movie together. Did I mention the US version of Solaris absolutely sucked? |

Yeah, yeah, the only thing I could really say was "Crap! I have lost my swimsuit"! It took me two years to be fluent in Mandarin, eight months to be fluent in Hebrew, but I gave up with Finnish, that is not a language that's a deadly trap!!!

well, Mrs. speak 7 languages fluently Paola, you are blessed with a gift to pick up new languages so easily. Yeah, Finnish words were next to unpronounceable for me . But I did have fun eavesdropping on the Helsinki buses. It sounds pretty, for words that are just a string of vowels.

I really liked the episode. Reid looks and sounds like he is feeling better so I wonder what he has done to eliminate or lessen the headaches. I was disappointed that we again saw the unsub right away but the bit of suspense from the opening and closing scenes with Prentiss made up for it. Can I say that I really love Sergio! . Emily did get the cat and he is black like my little baby. For once I did not mind that Garcia presented the case so I guess I'm getting used to it. I didn't care for the gaga twitter scene. Reid's a nerd so he should know what twitter is (I really don't buy/like that they are making him a technophobe). As for gaga my parents are in their 80's and they know who she is just by watching the news and reading the newspaper. We've seen Reid read a newspaper at least once before and I would be very surprised if he didn't watch or listen to the news. He knows who Siouxsie and the Banshees are but not Lady Gaga? I didn't think anything of Morgan giving the news conference other than that he should have at least put a jacket or blazer over his long sleeved t-shirt. If the chase scene wasn't so boring I don't think that I would have minded the length of it. Loved the Reid/Prentiss phone conversation. Nice to see a return of the team affection. I did remember that Reid could not read Russian and Emily could not speak it very well in HAT but in Emily's case speaking and understanding are 2 different things. I can understand French a lot better than I can speak it. As for Reid I just assumed that with most foreign language films there would be sub-titles and with the speed that he can read he would be able to focus more on what's happening on screen than the regular movie goer. But with his brain and his desire to suck in knowledge I guess he could learn any language pretty fast. During the last scene when Emily grabs Sergio and leaves her apartment I was thinking hey wait aren't you going to at least grab a can of cat food? What about a litter box? Overall it was a enjoyable episode. |
