Yeah. Or maybe we'll have one of the team members actually interacting with Reid on a personal level. No one has really talked to him or worried about him since the second episode of season 5 (when Garcia asked him if it hurt much). After that it seems people started to be mean to him and acted like they didn't like him anymore.

The last time I saw any snippet of a soap opera was in 2001. Kirsten Storms' character was on some island and there was an iguana and she started screaming and saying there was a dinosaur. Then some styrofoam rocks fell and I was laughing my a$$ off at how bad it was. For the record, the only reason I recognized Kirsten Storms was bc I saw her in some Disney moves and I had picked her as a good candidate to play Stephanie Brown if they ever did a Robin (as in Batman and) movie or tv show.

If Corazon gets pushed back again I will be livid.

Hmmm, it's almost time for the promo ads to come out. Hopefully, those would have some juicy scenes of Reid in anguish over his blinding headaches or some weird Twilight Zone music with him going bug-eyed over his hallucinations. :D Soap opera angst, anyone??????
:gah: I'm waiting for this promo (and for this episode) for almost three weeks but I guess it doesn't come out before Wednesday (Thursday for me, in Belgium). We can see both of this options.

I think the other members'll be worried about him (on the pictures, Hotch seems to be worried)... This time, it's impossible they ignore their friend who suffers hallucinations!

I'm wondering since there are now sooo many new writers throwing in 1or 2 of their own scripts that they stay away from writing real heart-to-heart talks between remaining team members. It'll be too hard for them to jump into the team dynamics from past episodes and get it right. We seem to be getting more focus on new members, soon to be departed members, and the unsubs/victims. :(
It's been so long since we get to see some real nostril-flaring, eyeball-glaring, clenched-teeth emoting from Reid.
We want some real scenery chewing from MGG!!!!!!!!

Last season I could understand his absence because of his leg... But now, I agree with you.

He's always in the police stations and he doesn't move! No action... He's self-effacing.

You're perhaps right about the new writers...

The thing is, Matthew actually said that his injury had very little to do with his absence from the show. Apparently they just didn't write much for him.

I had the feeling that a kind of "smash the gube" campain was going on one of the very well known CM blogs some time ago. Like that every ep focused on Reid was not good, that people were bored about the Reid backstory and so on. but maybe I'm just paranoid...
or maybe it's just CBS: after firing JJ and reducing the status of Prentiss, now they are getting people accustomed to the lack of Reid... the geniuses of CBS , they are trying to broadcast a show with no characters in. And according to the nielsen rating, IT WORKS. :gah:

I've been recently at the Television Without Pity and TV.com sites and reading from the very beginning. A lot of the comments from season 1 to season 4 have been complaints about too much Reid, not enough Garcia and what's the point of J.J., (particularly season 1) get rid of her so we can get more Garcia. So perhaps someone at CBS has been reading fan comments. Now the complaints seem to be about missing J.J, too much Garcia and not enough Reid. I started watching CM during season 4 so I was introduced to Emily before Elle and I was quite surprised when reading these sites that Emily was very much disliked when she first started. So was Rossi. First Reid, then Prentiss and Rossi were the characters that appealed to me the most when I first started to watch. As for the neilsen ratings, I think having Survivor as a lead in as opposed to the past few years of having a comedy as a lead in have helped in the ratings.
