LOL!
Several people were joking that he was going to turn in to Spiderman. Or would it be Spidergube?

Seriously, if my son had emailed a pic of a bite that got that red already, I'd be on a plane to LA and hauling him down to an ER stat!
Any cuts or nicks in the skin, much less a dirty bite like a spider can lead to a serious staph infection/flesh-eating type.
I tell my boys to take any cuts seriously since there are a lot of antibiotic-resistant germs out there that can turn ugly fast. bitenails bitenails I know a friend who didn't take a cut seriously and he almost died when it spread into his chest muscles. He had a lot of muscle tissues removed in order to save his life. Yikes!
I'm sooo glad the Federal government mandated that parents can keep their kids on their health insurance until age 26. That'll save a lot of young lives since kids tend not to get help if they are uninsured. bitenails

first we had the sprain ankle and the begin of his sock legend, then we had the swallowing problem operation, then THE knee, the bruise on his arm, the bruise on his eye, and now the spider.... we don't have anything with his EARS yet and... oh well... nothing much is missing, right? Notthisagain

Eeep! Don't jinx him by saying nothing happened to his ears yet! Now he might get chronic ear infections!

I do hope that the spider bite thing doesn't get any worse. Even if it won't kill him, if a brown recluse or black widow bites someone it can be extremely painful and they have to be hospitalized.

My parents told me about a guy that pulled up to a gas station and was talking to another guy very loudly. He was telling him how he'd been out in the woods and had to take a leak but got bitten by a black widow on the nuts. They had to cut off one of his nuts and his leg was all messed up and then when he was getting out of his car he fell and broke his arm.. (which was why the guy had a cast on his arm). My father was like "WTF? Why is he talking about this loudly in public?"

I hope Matthew's luck with his health gets better.

Didn't even mention how while filming Revelations he hit his head and pulled something in his back that made it hurt for a month.

It's actually a small miracle that his ears have survived untouched. Considering all the mutilation that he did to the hair.

Wait, I had forgotten the allergy to pumpkins and the allergy to lens cleaning liquid.

Hmmmmmmm, maybe he should re-think the whole good luck with mismatched socks business.

I think he's also allergic to cats... Poor thing has quite a few allergies. There's been speculation that he might be allergic to latex bc they give him nitrile gloves on the show.

Heh. Yeah, the un-matched sock thing doesn't seem to be working for him.

I wonder how they would explain the unmatched socks thing for Reid's personality on the show. Nobody ever comments on it. LOL. For that matter, nobody even mentioned his glasses on the show. I thought it would have been funny if at least one of the people had made a face upon seeing his glasses.

Uhoh. Looks like Gube went to the ER. :-(

yeah that I was expecting something else to happen, though the spider bite can't really be blamed on his clumsy tendencies. I really hope it doesn't cause him too much problems.
