22:10:13 [Davion_Elethar] It was a beautiful, sunny, windy day in Marsailles and the streets were crowded with pedestrians and the like. Children could be heard playing around every corner it seemed, while the adults sat at the several scattered coffee shops and pastry store that littered the streets like old newspaper on the streets of New York. It all made sense, the commotion, for the French soccer team was set to play against spain in a few days, right there in Marsailles, which brought several tourists from both countries. Now, within all the hustle and bustle of the busy city, just on the outskirts would lay a smaller, quaint town, with a few wine vinyards and the like, to which there still was quite a busy scene. However, along the foothills, where a local park lay for the travel weary souls, we would come to find a rather interesting individual, thrown about the grass... seemingly napping. -- Taking in a deep breath, Davion, could smell all the wonders that the fields held for him... and all because of the Wind. He lay-- 22:14:06 [Davion_Elethar] there, for what must have been hours, just thinking about where his travels would take him next. True, he had information that others of his kind resided within the countryside and city, but he hadn't an inkling of where they might be. That must've been why he was strewn about the grass in his light blue T and tan shorts, while his eyes resided behind a pair of sunglasses, glasses that seemed to be out of date by twenty or thirty years, but no matter, no one had bothered him about it so far. Moving his hands they came to rest behind his head, with interlocking fingers, while his mind gently pushed a breeze across the field for the children who were so eager to fly a kite. Hopefully, with that bit of help, Davion would be able to get some rest, even though he desperately need to start his search... but often as he had seen, it is sometimes best to lay and wait rather than eargerly seek. Afterall, he was just following the Wind. 22:39:21 Assana moved through the crowds, her form straying close to the outer edge. She did not feel comfortable with crowds, and with her experience with the humans - it could get ugly. Even in this pristine Parisian city, there lay an undercutting of greed, anger, hate and who knows what else. Even on this sunny day, she kept her hood up over her head, obscuring her vision and half of her pale form, her lithe body keeping to herself even as she elft the crowds and vacated towards the serene features of the park. It was any wonder that people seemed happy, and carefree. It gave off the nice illusion that everything was going to be fine. It was any wonder that the news hadn't been blasting every station: More elementals captured. What would happen next? She really didnt want to know. Dressed in a casual white dress underneath that hooded jacket, she looked more like she was going to go to a party, rather than a stroll in the park. Seeing a fountian, she made her way towards it and took a seat.It always fascinated her to b 22:39:32 [Assana] be near water. She dipped her hand into the still form, watching as the water rippled off her palm. It was a good day to be out. She glanced back, watching the people play, always on the watch for government officials. (Okay, sucky post, but its to keep things moving) 22:52:07 [Regan] The familiar plinking of a pair of coins flew into the long, rectangular case that contained Regan's act; a flaming baton. As if by magic, Regan had set the ends of the 5-foot-long stick ablaze, and was now weaving a ring of fire through the air before him. He was a street act, and given the title of 'Fire Dancer' by his fans. It was a rather small following, twenty to thirty people showing up per day, but they would always shout out different tricks that he should try. Naturally, Regan would attempt these tricks, succeeding for the most part. A popular one and one that he was known for, was breathing fire, where he would stick an end of the baton in his mouth and pull the extinguished end out, releasing a serpent of flame when his jaw opened. Regan had removed his shirt for the act, only wearing his pants and shoes to show off the fiery tattoos that spiraled up his arms. For the finale, he tossed the baton up and watched it spiral downward, impaling itself straight into the cold stone of the <C> 23:33:57 [Regan] <C> had scared away any fish that he might have fallen upon. He spat a mouthful of water aside, and looked up at the two of them, his hair dripping before his eyes. His gaze again drifted to the girl who had joined them. "Hello, miss. What's your name?" 23:41:06 Davion_Elethar would listen to the questions, finding such fluent english a bit hard to swallow. But, never the less, Davion was giving the two his rapt attention as he let his hand fall to his side and just sway in the Wind. To which Davion caught the tail end of the now known Assana's quetion, "Vai, was born there." He said with a smile and took a step back as the now introduced Regan fell into the fountain. Giving off a carefree chuckle, all the signs that Regan gave off about being an elemental had passed through Davion's mind, but yet he did not know how to approach the matter just yet. So, being a polite and caring fellow, Davion took two steps towards the fountain and extended his hand once more, though this time it was to help bring Regan out of the water. While helping the boy up, if his help was recieved, Davion would ask thusly, "You both in France for game?" as he let the wind carry away the water that could have been resting on his hand. But, whilst he asked the question, a young woman appeared, and-- 23:44:10 [Davion_Elethar] caught the attention of young Regan... to which Davion missed the question entirely presented by Regan. All this activity and company, especially with the surroundings, had Davion a bit uneasy and nervous... for he never knew that he would meet one of his kind, Regan, or so he thought, in public with what he suspected to be two other humans, Assana and the new girl yet to have a name to him. So, there the greek stood, wondering how to ask his question about Regan without giving away either of them to the two women. So, with a gust of wind thanks to a gentle gesture of his hand, Davion waited to see what would happen next. 23:54:34 Assana found herself amused by Regan's statement. "I thought fire couldnt hurt one of his kind." She said boldly, knowing far better than perhaps some of her companions just whom, or rather what, she was speaking with. "Well met, Regan and Davion." She tucked the coin away amongst her person, thinking to use it for dinner later. She eyed Regan curiously as he thumped his chest, and she could only shake her head..up until the point where he fell down. Her eyes widened, and she stood up quickly even as the water splashed her form. She gasped, water dripping down along her form, the fabric of her dress and coat clinging to her lithe figure. She tried to keep from laughing, a concerned and very amused look on her face. "Oh dear.." She said laughing. "Do you need assistance, young Regan?" She put her hands on her slim hips, looking at him, a twinkle in her eye. Seeing Davion approach, she took a step back, allowing him to let the boy up. She felt someone else approach, and she turned her head minutely, her eyes 23:54:47 [Assana] taking in the girl caked in dirt. Her eyes sobered when she saw the shy look on the girls face, and she looked at the two boys a moment, before returning her gaze to her. Shy, or something else? "Don't be shy, we're all friends here." For the time being. She really wasnt sure, but it sounded like something good to say at the time. 00:03:57 [Regan] Regan smiled and looked over at Davion, his head inclining to one side at his question. "Game? What game?" He said, taking the Greek man's hand and pulling himself up. "Don't be shy, we're all friends here." "Yeah, because a group that lets a fire eater drown together stays together." He teased, looking over at the girl. "Do you have a name, miss?" He inclined his head to one side, his hand heating up slightly. 00:05:53 [violetoxcity] With a gulp she returned her gaze to them “ violet and yours.” She said so quietly it went nearly unheard. She looked to her hands putting them behind her she began fiddling with her feet. She was slightly blinded by the suns rays as she looked away to the horizon. She turned away from the sun, her hair glowering like fire. Some would assume she had elements of fire, for she hadn’t looked much like some one who had earth elements. She looked to them now “are you..?” she stopped and smiled knowing the question before it had come from her mouth. She seemed to feel different with them, not so out of place maybe? Her eyes danced with curiosity that didn’t seem to happen to often no matter what the situation was. She was a depressed sort of person, was there something very wrong with her? She often asked herself. Her sundress danced at her kneecaps as the breeze blew past her. She giggled realizing that it was the making of Davion. She saw a small flower peaking up through the cracks of the old pavement, --c 22:55:40 [Regan] street, both ends extinguishing on contact. The crowd applauded, a few more coins were thrown, and Regan replaced his shirt. However, the famous feeling lasted for only a moment; soon a wave of numbness went through his brain. Another Elemental was here...He turned around, viewing the fountain about fourty yards away. A young lady had her hand submerged in the clear water. Packing up his things and moving toward her, the numbness in his brain weakened slowly, showing that he was nearing the said Elemental. "Excuse me...? Why do you have your hood up? It's a beautiful day." 22:58:52 [violetoxcity] Walked through the small town felling a sense of being alone, though many people surrounded her. She never understood what this life was given to her for why she was given such unknowing gifts, that often she could not control. Her mind did not wander nor did her eyes, for she could feel their ominous stares upon her. The people must have thought she looked like a freak her fire red hair shadowing the fear that grew in the pit of her stomach portraying out the key to her soul. Her thoughts where of anger and she wanted to make them stop there thought or at least scare them, but what would that prove? She kicked a small piece of gravel her converse dark from the dirt. Looking up she saw the waters edge seeing no one near it she quickened her pace. Hoping in an odd sense to put the anger behind her she did not want to have an explosion like she had many times before. Once her feet reached the cool wet sand she felt more in tuned with her and it didn’t feel as though she was in the wrong. Kneeling down she -c 22:59:11 [violetoxcity] dug her hands into the cool sand feeling her anger melt away. Pulling the sand into her palms her rosy lips quirked a smile, but would this end in a disastrous situation. She herd the steps of another, trying to ignore them taking in deep breath she closed her eyes. Looking into the calm part of her mind her fingers now dug into the sand again, hoping to feel that happiness creep up on her once more. 23:01:37 [Davion_Elethar] Rolling to his stomach and then hoisting himself upright with his arms, Davion had his fill of down time for the day, and came to his full height of five feet eleven inches before he started his long elegant stride up the hill. Having parked his car on the local lot, he figured it would be a good of a time as any to go get some lunch. But, as he approached the small courtyard, which was host to a rather elegant fountain, upon which sat a young woman, he caught out of the corner of his eye an intriguing sight. A young boy, of what he guessed to be fifteen, twirled a stick of flame to the ground and extinguished the ravenous fire. Bravo. Davion thought quietly to himself as he started towards the fountain, intending to toss in a coin or two for luck on his search... but instead witnessed the young man heading the same way. With all intention to congratulate the young man on his accomplishment, Davion decided to stop at the fountain, just as the young man arrived and spoke in clear english to the-- 23:06:04 [Davion_Elethar] young woman, to which Davion understood... slightly. Pausing, so the boy could finish, he would flip a coin into the fountain and then extend one, in offering to the boy, saying in his best english, "Good show, very... nice tricks." His accent was that of a native Greek, this in every way, as he smiled to the woman now. Removing his sunglasses, Davion would nod his head gently, rather than bow, and introduce himself, by placing a hand on his chest, "Davion Elethar, nice to meets you both." His voice was that of a gentle spirit, or what one could tell anyways as he extended a hand this time, if the coin had been taken, in a gesture of greetings, first to the lady and then to the young lad. With his sunglasses resting atop his brown hair, Davion stood there, hoping that his kind nature would not be seen as... rude, but rather pleasant. Little did he know that these two... were those he saught. And so, with his spiralling tattooed arm extended, the man would wait, eagerly hoping for the best. 23:17:34 Assana ran her fingers through the water, watching as the little fish moved about above the coins littering the bottom. She pulled her hand back slightly, water dripping off of slender digits as one of the little fish attatched to her finger. "No no little one, I'm not to eat." She said playfully with a smile even as she drew her hand out of the water. It wasnt long before a shadow crossed her path, and she looked up, startled. Crystal blue eyes met the younger males, even as her hood fell back to reveal her dark ebony tresses that curled around her neck and tickled along her jawline. "Oh!" She hadnt expected company, not even from the fire dancer. Her hand moved instinctively back into the water again, almost behind her back. She knew fire creatures could be dangerous, with strong and fierce temperments and a capacity to destroy, but strangely, she was not afraid of the boy. She glanced up at the crystal blue sky and nodded. "So it is." She gave him a small gentle smile, even while keeping watch for others. "I cou 23:17:48 [Assana] could smell the fire on you. Are you a fire eater?" Not knowing how much this boy knew, she thought ti best to play it safe. Her question was confirmed when Davion, another stranger, joined them at the fountain. She pulled her hand back, resting it against the lip of the stone fountain as she watched them two, going silent. They both seemed friendly of a sort, but she was always cautious, even if she didn't show it on appearances. She nodded her head, listening to Davions grecian accent. "Assana. You are greek, yes?" Her accent was strange, and difficult to trace, but even so, she felt the presence of both kindred spirits quite significantly. She looked at the coin, and smiled, taking it from Davions fingers. "For good luck." She smiled, lifting the coin to her lips and giving it a kiss. Just beyond their little gathering, she spied an angry girl sitting in the sand. 23:22:49 [Regan] (Be warned, I often repeat things people say in italics to give a better response.) 23:23:30 [Assana] Good to know.) 23:26:58 [Regan] Regan stifled a chuckle, watching the fish nip at the young lady's finger. His gaze moved up to view her eyes, and soon her hood fell back to view the dark hair and youthful face. "I could smell the fire on you. Are you a fire eater?" "If you count my tongue being singed every time I stick the torch in my mouth, then yes, I suppose I am." He smiled, looking over at the older man who had joined them. "Good show. Very...nice tricks." "Thank you. Regan Sai, at your service." He teased, proudly punching his raised chest with his right hand, and leaving behind a faint burn mark. His eyes were on the coin that Davion had offered, and Assana had taken and kissed. "...Y'know, that's probably not too good for your health. Who knows where that's been." He inquired, sitting on the lip of the fountain and turning his head to view the girl in the sand. The numbness went weakly through his brain again, making him wobble and eventually fall backwards into the fountain. The splash that followed <C> 23:27:39 [violetoxcity] She opened her eyes from their stance of being squeezed shut, peering to where she had heard the sound of some ones steps before, but nothing was there. Am I going crazy? She thought as her hands receded from the cool sands depths. Her hands where covered in the soils mark, but she hadn’t minded it was a comforting feeling in an odd way. She stood walking to the water now crouching down she sloshed her hands in the water washing away the reemits of the sand. Her nails where imbedded with the earths soil, she never attempted to tear away the left over beneath her nails. Shaking her hands water flung in every which way; drying her hands off on her sweater she looked behind her to a rather larger hill. Thinking like a of how the hill would be that of a perfect one to roll down. Walking towards the hill she pulled the sands of the earth to her palm, feeling the grit form of the earth she smiled. Running up the hill letting the sand slip through the cracks between her fingers flying out behind her. Looking out-c 23:27:54 [violetoxcity] in front of her she could see a gathering of people near a fountain and seemed to her that they where not people who would anger her. She walked forwards towards them her hair no longer shadowing her eyes. With caution she sensed something more in them. Were they like her? Tilting her head she walked to them her hands still had traces of sand she brushed them away softly her smile sweet. “ Hello” she said rather quietly. Looking to the ground almost in an unworthy sort of way. Her voice must have sound crackled with a ting of her Irish accent abstracting it.-e 23:41:06 Davion_Elethar would listen to the questions, finding such fluent english a bit hard to swallow. She asked her self looking to them as her eyes grew with a sense of fear, her eyes honestly where like peaking into her soul showing her every emotion. She took in a sweeping breath looking to the flower as she shrunken it back to size hopeing it had gone unnoticed in some hopeless way. She gulped down the lump in her throat as she looked to them her eyes not longer danced but peered to them having faith that it was not the wrong place to do it. She smiled hearing Assana words and let her breathe out knowing it would be all right. “ I am not shy, well I am. Though I am cautious.” She twisted her heels and laughed a bit. Looking to them and then to Assanas gave to her dirt stained hands. She twisted them behind her back in an impatient almost caustic matter. |
