Board Rules 1. Respect your fellow members. Argue and debate to your heart's content. But do not attack each other. 2. No spamming. That includes making garbage threads, and advertising outside of the advertisement forum or your signature. 3. If you start a new thread, please start it in the correct forum. 4. Do not double post in the same thread, unless you have a good reason. Examples of good reasons include; posting multiple images, adding more to a news story, etc. 5. Please try not to start a thread about a topic that already exists. If there you have something to talk about that ties in with another thread already on one of the first 3 pages of the forum just reply to that thread with your post. 6. Profanity is not allowed on the site. This includes Pornographic images or links to a site with pornographic images violators will be given a 48 hour ban with no prior notice. 7. Foul language is ok to an extent, however excessive swearing (using the word Fuck more than twice in a post for example), racist words, and racism in general is not acceptable on the forum. 8. Homophobia is not tolerated. This kind of ties in with the above rule. You are allowed to state your opinions on sexual preference. But gay bashing and such is not allowed. If you are caught doing so you will recieve one warning and a 24 hour ban. 2 offenses and your IP will be banned. 9. If you need to contact someone specific, please use the PM feature. Do not start a thread just to get the attention of one specific member. It will be deleted. 10. Do not ask to be a mod or admin. Especially if you just signed up to the site. It's not going to happen! If you're mod or admin material, than you're probably already one or being considered for a spot when one becomes available. 11. Do not post spoilers in a topic title. The cutoff date for a spoiler is 3 days after that you can post it in your topic title, If you feel the need to post a spioler make sure you put *spoiler* in the title eg. *Spoiler* WWE SmackDown! taping results. If you are replying to a topic and are posting a spoiler please use the spoiler code [spoiler]hidden text[/spoiler] becomes Spoiler: click to toggle 12. Do not give away any personal information to any members of the forum outside of your first name and possibly your Email/IM (but still be careful who you give out your Email to). Information that is considered personal includes but is not limited to your home phone number, and address. 13. You may Request a name change but please do so in the official name change request thread whiche can be found in the announcements section of the forum, however You are allowed one name change per month MAX and must have a Minimum of 25 NON-SPAM posts on the forum. 14. You may post images in most of the forums, however please try and keep all pictures relevant to the thread. If you need someone to host an image for you, please ask. No images should contain pornography or racism *See # 7-8*. 15. Please refrain from typing threads and/or thread titles in CAPS as it makes it more difficult for the reader to understand and just makes you look like an asshole. By continuing to view the forum you agree to be bound by these rules. Failure to do so will result in a punishment at the Moderators or Administrators discression. Main Event Wrestling reserves to right to add or change rules at any time but will however give notice if any changes are made |
