Name: Purple
Equivalent Age: 21
Species: :onix
Biography: As to be expected in this day and age, Purple was born to two well-respected, and extremely brutal, Steelix on some date that not even he can remember. He was bred as the final child of the two Steelix, who were both respectively colour-blind, and he was named Purple, in accordance with his older brother Blue, and his older sister Yellow. Yes, I know, for two creatures that were supposedly ‘shit-ass pwn’, they were pretty bloody clueless when it came to names. Peh, it did not matter anyway, for the two of them favoured brawn over brains in every area possible. If they had seen the urge to partake in a pub quiz, for example, then rather than answer the questions, they would just continuously thrash the life out of the quizmaster until they got the prize. Life seemed simpler this way, and that sheen of fear that became etched over your comrades faces as you slashed apart a settlement were unmatched.

The family grew within the confines of the Templar, the parent Steelix having enrolled and trained there ever since they could remember. Not that they had long memories, what with their tiny brains and all. Of course, as offspring of the Templar, the Onix were expected to know how to battle, else be trained every other second of the day. Unfortunately, Purple and his two siblings had contrasting interests of the idea, and thus nothing was ever simple within the family grouping. Blue, the middle child was a complete copy of his father, completely adoring bloodshed, and finding repeatedly slamming an enemy into a wall until their skull shatters three hundred different ways, to be rather an interesting pastime. This thus made him the favourite of both of his parents. Yellow, however, being the eldest, as well as extremely feminine and proud, was dead-set against her parent’s ways, and combat as a whole really. This, evidently, made her the rebellious child, the one that both parents attempted to disown at least seven times before her tenth birthday.

Then comes Purple. Being the youngest of the family, and swiftly finding out that he never really got a say in anything, Purple soon found that emotion really was not worth bothering about, making him indifferent and silent. He would act as instructed when it came to training, before blending neatly into the background, observing his fellow peers silently. Amazingly, he became better equipped in the mental side of things than the rest of his family combined, which in turn lead to a very different realm of combat, making Purple extremely gifted for the Onix species. However, for his general size and disposition, he measured in at only average, not placing him into the same league as his older brother. This, sadly, made him the forgotten child, not as vicious as Blue, nor as unruly as Yellow, just shoved into the background to be pleasantly ignored. Not that he was altogether bothered by this, as being ignored was a blissful ray of silence in his rushed day.

Thankfully, for Purple at least, his life seemed to continue this way, day after day after day. Blue would roar, Yellow would bitch, and he would watch with bored malice. Of course, above ground the Chaos were manifesting in hoards like never before, but he was too young and naive to understand any of it.

Not for long though, Chuck.

Finally loosing her rag one despondent day when Purple was about sixteen, Yellow left her parents with the beautiful parting words of ‘I fucking hate you, you overgrown tapeworm!’ before officially resigning from the Templar to make her way in her own world. The Templar, not really bothered about Yellow’s fleeing, for she was pretty much a crap fighter, allowed her to leave, but allowed it to be of her own will, not wanting a massive, non-existent, law-suit to crop up is she ever got possessed by Chaos. However, they were partially worried of Yellow’s prominent blood, and the fact that if she ever was possessed, then they would be in a shit-load of trouble. So, it was rumoured that the group sent specialist agents after her for a bit, just to ensure her safety. Well, that’s what Blue chose to tell Purple, at least. However, Purple was not as thickheaded as his brother and knew exactly his sister’s risks, and that he would probably never see her again…

He was unsure whether he cared about his sister’s disappearance or not, for they had never been all that close, and she could be an annoying pile of boulders when she felt like it. However, she was his sister, and even with his conflicting views, he was not about to let anyone else abuse her politically incorrect name.

This was proved roughly two years later, when Purple’s parents and Blue had been sent out upon some mission somewhere, leaving Purple to his own accord. Being rather a reserved soul, the Oinx kept to himself, milling about with the other misfits in his acclaimed silence. It was during this time that he overheard two fellow snakes, Arbok in fact, discussing his sister’s views. He would have been impartial, moving on without a second thought, if there had not been a malicious slander of his sister’s good name without her around to defend herself. Not only did they butcher her name, but they also landed a venomous dent in the rest of the family as well, criticizing Blue for his muscle-bound stupidity and Purple for his silence and reserved nature, which obviously made him weak.

Unsure by which emotion sparked it, Purple was suddenly blinded with rage like he had never been before in his life, his hatred brewing about his gazed skin. With a gut-wrenching snarl, similar to his mother’s tremendous battle cry, Purple launched himself at the Arbok couple, bloodshed flickering behind his usually absent irises, with intent to kill.

And he did not disappoint himself.

With one Arbok close to death, another maimed for the rest of his life, Purple found himself only wrenched away by the gigantic wrath of his parents. Of course, the Templar should have just discarded him straight away, for he was ruthless, turning on his fellow comrades for no real reason. Yet, they chose not to. The real reason for this is unknown, but it has been rumoured that due to Purple’s otherwise ‘serene’ nature, his rage and anger could be contained, and if released at the right time…it could ensure mass carnage.

And that’s just what they need about now, right?
Personality:Ever since that…unusual day, the other Pokemon have always had two names for Purple’s conflicting personalities. Violet and Indigo.

Violet is Purple’s normal personality, his calm, relaxed and silent side. His indifferent nature and bizarre intelligence loft here, as well as his love for pure silence, his dislike for oppression and his innate lust for anything appearing beautiful. Ah yes, if its one thing that ‘Violet’ is a sucker for, then it’s beauty in the form of art, of which can exist of absolutely anything. Of course, he kept this a secret from his butch brother and parents, disguising it behind his blank stares, of which were always directed at the sunset, or a pretty array of flora. Needless to say, this makes ‘Violet’ somewhat hippy-like, in the indirect way. Rather than tie himself to a tree screaming some crap about dying three-branched trees, he’d instead do it silently, elegantly dodging around a couplet of sweet primroses if they ever fell into his path. This is Purple’s personality around 99.9% percent of the time, which makes him a rather mysterious fellow.

Indigo, however, is a completely different story. The demonic .1%, Indigo is nearly a direct match of Purple’s mother’s general personality, with about five-times the brash intelligence. This is the secretive side of Purple, where he stuffs all his negative emotion, his impulsive desires and his bloodline’s lust for bloodshed. It is not to be considered that his fighting abilities grow any stronger whilst under the influence of ‘Indigo’, but rather that he uses his current abilities with much more force, making use of his rocky exterior and his tremendous size. Of course, it takes rather a lot to make him this way, believe it or not, and as the full extent has only been seen once…

Well, you can make your own mind up on that one.
