"Durka durka..." Porygon bleeped, as its head rotated about point, scanning the horizon left and right, looking for some form of information to help process what was going on. It found nothing to explain what was happening, or had happened, though, and instead began to head towards a large congregation of tents, nearby. They perhaps could provide a source of valuable information to make decisions with, and ultimately tell Porygon how it'd gotten here. Maybe also supply it with a way to get back, or at least something to do...

The scenary was bleak, not that it mattered to Porygon. Naught but simple dirt underneath where it hovered, and no trees, rocks, plants, living creatures and most importantly to our character, no machinary, for as far as the pixellated eye could see. The only things were these tents, so it was becoming more and more prominent as the only option for the programme.

Without further ado, then, it made forward, only to be lunged at, by some sort of other Pokemon. Porygon barely had time to react, the Pokemon script commands that it harboured rushing to the surface, causing it to attempt a dodge from the oncomer's attack. The element of suprise beat it, though, and Porygon was sent crashing out of the air, hit with some kind of scratching-tackle action, before it had been able to escape the flight path of the threat.

:Rattata level 6 :Male

Recovering off the floor, Porygon was able to see that this opponent was infact a Rattata, and an apparently angry one, considering his bared teeth, raised tail, and threatening stance. 'Twould seem Porygon had disturbed his sleeping area, or something, and so battling was going to be the only option. Porygon didn't have many offensive options, the only thing it could do right now, that would damage the threat was literally throwing itself at him, in a Tackle attack. So, ducking the head down, and darting forward, it made way to slam into the Rat. Eyes clenched shut to avoid any chance of having them poked out, the Pokemon was about to hit it's first attack...

"Command confirmed: Tackle imminent" Porygon droned, as it advanced into the Rattata. He didn't have a chance to move, either because years of drug abuse had dulled him, or because he was simply retarded. Either way, the Tackle hit him, and he was sent sprawling back in a fashion similar to Porygon's, previous. Porygon stopped almost on the spot, though, as he went rolling away. The programme opened its visual sensors, and took in the new information.

The dirt had been kicked up, and the rat's scurrying actions splayed more of the stuff around, too. Quickly, his actions had caused a cloud of the sandy material to surround him, and made any further attacks by Porygon more difficult. Equally, it was probably blinding the Rattata, so they'd reached something of a stalemate; Neither would be able to effectively attack the other. This meant assaults would be less favourable to preparations, and our ingenious creation had just the thing...

"Conversion mark II process activated. Resistance creation 32%" came another monotone call from the electronic piece, as it began on its move called 'Conversion2' The technique would make it less susceptable to Normal type Damage, following a change in its Polygon make-up, and so the Rattata, when he eventually did attack, would make lesser leeway with his Tackles...

That was the plan, and as Porygon chimed "100%; 'Conversion mark II' complete." it came under test, as Rattata was able to find his target, and slammed down onto the now rockhard surface of Porygon, only finding that smacking into the pink and blue, blocky looking thing hurt. It did little more than dent Porygon's health, and it looked at the Rattata, who lay down, looking up at the monster. It bared it's teeth, and showed it hadn't given up, and Porygon made the simple reply:

"Durka."

Hecate had been minding her own business, sitting in her Alpha Legion-appointed recoup, rest and relaxation location (see: tent) on a rather quiet evening, just chillaxin' and doin' up her hair, when a ruckus arose outside.

Abandoning her previous efforts, she floated up, turning slowly on the spot (there wasn't much room to do anything BUT float, mind) and headed (it was a short trip) for the opening, checking that her obnoxiously large hoop earrings were in place and that her hair was now sufficiently "did" to be seen in public.

Emerging from her tent, the ghost-type didn't even pause to see what was goin' DOWN, before opening her big mouth.

"Oh heyllllllllllllllls no. You KNOW this af'anoon I be doin' mah HAIR. Don'chu even go makin' all this nooooise and shi-" a cloud of dust swept across the area, cutting her short as she coughed, mid-head-bob.

"What. the. HEYLL? *cough cough* WHAT'chu doin' OUT HURR? Do I gotta come over there and SHUTCHU UP MYSELF, BITCH? What the HEYLL is you doin'?"

The dust began to abate, and the figure of a Rattata made itself apparent, lunging into the dust at... What was that? A rubber duck? WHAT THE HELL? The two Pokemon appeared to be fighting - the source of the disturbance on the edge of camp. Oh, no. Oh HEYLL no they were NOT roughhousin' next to HER tent.

"Don'tchu got no COMMON DECENCY? I know my momma taught me better'n that, makin' a fuss outside someone's tent, doin' their hair, ain't even asked or nuffin. Get the hell outta here!"

Headbob engaged, successful.

The Rattata turned from his position on the ground wincing in pain, ears perking up and tail twitching instinctively as the rat took in her appearance, floating towards him until she was right in his face, lips pursed meaningfully as she attempted to intimidate him by mere brazenness.

The normal type flinched at her proximity before recovering enough to hiss at her.

Was it a rogue Chaos Pokemon, wandered into camp?

She backed away hastily, having forgotten momentarily all about the Porygon, eyes fixed on the Rattata assessingly.

Its many pixels and polygons were now more resistant to being hit by normal assaults, and Porygon definitely had developed the winners side of this battle; Rattata would make much less of a way with his attacks, and considering the Tackle brawl this had become, that put the computer programme at an obvious advantage. Before it had a chance to follow up on the certain advantage it would have, though, things rapidly took a turn for the odd, as a Ghost type Pokemon meandered over to Rattata.

She seemed to speak some nonsense, most of which completely missing Porygon. It'd attempted to translate what she was saying, and some parts seemed to be English in nature. Others, though, were very much false and fake words, such as "Nuffin" "heyyyyylls" and "shii-" Ultimately, the entire construct of what she was saying was lost to Porygon, and the altered script inside leapt into action, overriding the usual 'misunderstood' reply, and churning out instead that Porygon should reply as thus:

"Durka. Durka command."

The sound winded to a halt, and Porygon began advancing on the pair. It also began to use Sharpen, preparing itself to deal more damage, well aware of the threat both Pokemon could now pose. It seemed the unidentified new one was an ally, since their quarrel was with this opponent of previous, but Porygon daren't take risks. Perfect computations were far more satisfying, and it was at the pair within seconds.

Looking at the vicious Rattata, it decided to wait for a response from that being before attacking. Equally, 'twas vital to know whether the Misdreavus was allied or not, and so Porygon asked, after ending the confusion:

"Durka. Friend or Durka?"

Staring at the hissing Rattata, Hecate rolled her eyes, launching a Psywave attack at the rodent, ululating violet rays filling the space between herself and her opponent. The rat leapt quickly to the side, leaving her pounding her mind into the ground. She succinctly stopped, turning slowly, as though with great effort, to face the little rodent again.

He tried to tackle her. Yeah, that didn't work so well, but because of his position, he leaped right through her and landed instead on Porygon.

She paused, unsure if another Psywave would be too risky with the duck-from-hell in the way. Who knew what it could do? It had been saying something, but she hadn't heard...

Failing to recieve some form of response from the Misdreavus, whilst she fired her Psywave, the electronic pile of Polygons made the decision she must have missed it speaking out. The assault on Rattata confirmed that they had a common enemy, though not that they were actually teammates, so it questioned her alignment, in regards to itself, again:

"Command repeat: Friend or Foe?" came the synthetic drone, this time without the faulty programming. Before the ghost would've even had chance to reply, though, the somewhat wild and rabid appearing Rattata leapt at her, passing through her immaterial body, and onto Porygon itself. This naturally caused quite the distressed response, from such a distressing situation:

"DURKA!?" it shouted, as the purple Pokemon came to land directly on its what would be beak, and dug the claws into Porygon's solid exterior. The damage done wasn't particularly bad, in retrospect to what it could've been, like being crushed by a Japanese sumo, or beaten with a Cat o' nine tails... Though the latter's much too kinky for that... Yet Porygon reacted in quite an unexpected fashion:

Some form of hax override saw it go nuts, and screaming an inaudible 'Pory,' it slammed its previously Sharpened beak head into the face of Rattata, with such force that the blue tip passed into him. Penetrating past his skin, through his layers of muscle, and even shattering his once intact skull, Porygon pretty much slaughtered the small pest Pokemon, then and there, causing a jet of blood to asplode across the scene. Naturally, a lot had covered Porygon, though the rest which'd seen its way out through the back the Rat's head, had squirted in the direction of the Misdreavus, and had she been material, she would have been a nice new shade of red.

Porygon levitated, temporarily stunned from what'd just happened, before floating back down, the Rattata carcasse still hanging from its beak.

...Interesting...

Hecate paused, turning to watch the flight path of the Rattata as the imbecilic Pokemon impaled itself on Porygon's face.

"...IT TOO EARLY IN THE MO'NIN' FOR BLOODSHED. WHAT'Chu doin'? Din'cho momma ever tell you you gotta wait til after folks dun with lunch to cut a bitch?"

She hovered down toward the Porygon, focusing on becoming material enough to nudge the carcass off of the odd Pokemon, before phasing back out so that the blood smeared across part of her just fell right through onto the ground.

"You one'a them Templars? I ain't never seen nuthin' like that. I ain't about to go callin' you a foe, tha's fo sho. Wha'cho name?"

She examined the bit of programming confusedly, tilting her head to the side as she slowly floated in a circle around him to take in the bloodied sight of the normal-type. Not a species she'd ever laid eyes on before - that was a fact. It looked like a possessed bath-toy, covered in blood like a demonic agent of the watery grave. Or something. She didn't actually know what the term 'watery grave' meant, but if there was a water grave there was a watery heaven and a watery hell, which meant that there were certainly watery demons, which currently explained the appearance of the random Porygon before her.

"You alright?" she asked, lowering herself in front of the now-exposed face of the Porygon. "Anyone in there?"

She bobbed up and down to gauge the reaction. "Hellooooooo..."

The road had been long and hard as Tide was walking around a rather barren land with not too much sign of life and the ones that he had seen were a lone Pidgey flying above him in the sky or a small Caterpie crawling across the land. Nothing major could be seen but it was enough to keep poor Tide from going mentally insane from being so bored. As he continued down the path the thoughts of his parents kept flooding him memory as each and every step he took reminded him of them. When he spotted a small leaf twirling in a air tornado he was reminded of times when his parents would tell him that the wind was caused by the Pokegods way up in space and was a way to send their love and compassion down to earth. As he grew older he later figured out that it was childish to think things such as this but still he thought of these things to keep his memory fresh of his parents.

Still lost in thought, Tide soon noticed many many tents all placed around in random order. It was quit the odd spot for a big camping party so perhaps they had a bigger meaning or maybe they were even chaos pokemon? The tents sparked Squirtle's mind as he began to creep slowly towards the tents but before he could reach them he saw a ghost pokemon, a flying duck, and a small Rattata's blood all around. Tide gasped as he saw the blood all around, maybe they really were chaos pokemon. But there appearance was different and usually the killed enemies were turned into chaos pokemon, so why was this Rattata just lifeless and dead. Curiosity filled the small turtle as he crept closer to get a word of what was going on between the two.....

Still hovering unsure, Porygon was very slow in replying to the Misdreavus. It was currently undergoing some form of internal turmoil. Porygon; it felt as if... Well, feeling was bad enough in itself! But it felt as though it had desires, needs, questions and problems. Ultimately, it felt like it had emotion. This was something new for Porygon, and entirely impossible. That, naturally, sent it into an overdrive, and it almost seemed to be thinking, something Computers are well documented for being incapable of doing! Whatever had happened when that Rattata had jumped onto it (Whom still hung like a coat, on Porygon's beak, until the Misdreavus nudged it off,) had caused, or rather triggered some long buried code within Porygon.

Indeed, the process which would see Porygon's psyche exist and actually develop was starting, and though it would now re-bury itself, it had begun. The process was supposed to be slow and gradual, so as to avoid overloading Porygon, and it seemed like that'd been a smart idea; Right now, even this small amount of conscious awareness was causing the creation to call out simple cries of Durka, entirely unsure of what was going on. Why did it know that it didn't know? Why did it WANT to continue running, and explore this area? Why did it WANT to do anything?

"DURRRKAAAA!" It practically roared at the Misdreavus, whom had come right into its face, following a full rotation. If that Squirtle, of whom Porygon was unaware, had been listening intently, the sudden outburst would surely have made it jump, too. Misdreavus would no doubt take this badly too, not that Porygon could figure that one out, even though it had returned to its original self, following the outburst. It stared at the ghost Pokemon, now, with calculations running behind its eyes, processing now what she'd said. This time, it had better luck with comprehending what she said, and now understood what she was asking:

"Negative. 'Porygon Serial Number 220691' is not a 'Templar'. Status: Functional. You are an ally. Confirm?" What a warm conversation, eh?

Hecate looked slightly placated, moving back when the 'Porygon' all-but roared "Durka" in her face.

"What the hell's that mean? Goin' around shoutin' 'durka' at people? Better not be talkin' 'bout my momma like that or I'll cut a bitch."

She paused to reflect on the odd monotone reply, giving the normal-type a suspicious look as she continued to slowly back away, rising as she did so, head cocked to one side.

"'Pour-ya-gone, hm? Don' be 'spectin' me to remember that long-ass string o'numbers. Half the time I can't even remember my sister Sharquanda's name. So why'd that Rattata go about attackin' you, anyway? You say somethin' 'bout it's momma too? Wouldn't blame it, really..."

She gave the programme a sharp look, wholly unaware of the Squirtle's presence.

She paused to categorize the Porygon. It seemed harmless enough to her - it was clearly a normal type, and so she'd be able to simply phase through most of its attacks should it decide to turn on her. Leading it further into camp could be dangerous as well, however, due to exposing more Legionnaires to its presence. For all she knew it was a trick of the Chaos, some radioactive isotope-turned-bathtoy.

Ah well, he seemed alright.

"You hungry? Rations gonna be served up before too long. Which means another half hour of seasoning to make 'em edible before anyone can eat. But it's fillin'. C'mon," she invited, waiting for a response.

"I am not talking about your 'mother' like that." came the voice of almightly bland, though the unintended empthasis Porygon applied to the word could've easily suggested contradiction to its statement... Still, it set about continuing to answer to the Misdreavus' questions and commands: "I do not know why the Rattata attacked me. It is no longer of my concern, either... Do you have a preferred user name?" The reasoning behind this question was simple to the Porygon; By having a more comfortable name, it would make their alligience more solid, which would be quintessential at some point in the near future.

Does this make socialising feel so degraded to tactics and psychology to you, too?

"I do not require nourishment in the form of food. I will accompany you, however." Maybe she would lead Porygon to some answers, which he indeed still sought, somewhere deep inside.

Another part of the altered scripts inside the programme meant that its speech would slowly begin to corrupt, and become more 'natural', as it learned to speak like others. This would obviously take some time in observation, but it was definitely active, now...

And so the pair began to head towards the tents, Porygon entirely unsure of where it was being led. Instead of worrying about that, it was taking in information from the surroundings; The various tents being imprinted to memory for further use, and possibly navigation. Things were in the Misdreavus' hands, now, though...

Hecate ceased her appraising looks, descending into mindless chatter about the weather, her hair, her new earrings, her momma, various daily routines around the place and just about anything else that came to her mind as she floated along, leading the Porygon toward the mess tent.

She paused suddenly, recalling what the odd Pokemon had said.

"What'chu mean you don' need no food? You one'a them anama-rexiks or somethin'? That's no way to live just to keep your gurlish- ah... boyish-..." She paused. "Your figure. We'll find some way for you to get a bite or two in you! You do have a mouth, right?" she asked, her tone implying that anything without a mouth was certainly unnatural.

Since it was in Porygon's best interests to remain 'friendly' with the Misdreavus, it obediantly listened to what she said, and actually took in the idle nonsense she chatted on about. Although it wasn't like it would ever need to know in fashions, nor did Porygon hold any requirement to know what the weather was like... It kind of enjoyed it. As you can probably guess by now, this was as a result of the tampering, and Porygon didn't even notice this time, that it indeed was interested in hearing these things...

Then Misdreavus finally picked up on the fact that Porygon had claimed it didn't need to eat, and it had seemed to cause alarm. It now occured to Porygon that she was unaware that it wasn't a living creature, or even that it was a Computer Programme. And the way she reacted, mentioning things like "anama-rexiks" and how "That's no way to live just to keep your... Your figure." suggested that it would be unnatural for Porygon to not accept her invitation to dine. So it made the decision, in further interest of remaining allied, to indeed eat the food... Entirely unsure what it would do...

As for having a mouth... Porygon really wasn't sure... It didn't have one, but how would it ensure that the Misdreavus wouldn't judge it...? It could create one, using Sharpen, and it began doing that, as it headed forwards, the pair eventually reaching the area Misdrevus had been leading them. Porygon had, by this time, Sharpened its beak to the point where it had something which could pass for a mouth. Was this creative thinking? By a computer? Whatever next..?

"Affirmative. I do have a mouth." And Porygon opened this makeshift 'mouth' through which it would soon store some food, and pretend it was eating... For now, it was just showing it to Misdreavus, content with its fast thinking.

Sounds like peer pressure to me.

Whilst waiting for missy Misdreavus to make a comment, the pair passed a noticeboard, which, entitled "Raids," featured a list of different jobs and missions, available to Alpha Legion members. Porygon didn't exactly understand what the purpose of these raids would be, but they seemed to be somewhat popular, as a couple of other Pokemon were crowded around them. Something interested Porygon in them, and so it took a closer look, as they were going past...

There was a Machop and a Geodude looking at the notices with interest, one pointing, and the other talking. Porygon couldn't hear what they were saying, but moments later, they ran and hovered off, scooting to the gateway stones, a short way away in the distance. Naturally, the programme didn't know what that was either, though a flash of light really grabbed its attention. Maybe if it looked at the board...

And as such Porygon was quickly distracted from being with Misdreavus, and may well have left her to travel onwards, as it moved to get a better look at the board. The various texts, colors and marks confused it, but within moments it had decided that the section titled "Duin" was most interesting... Maybe it could head there, for some real answers...

Porygon seemed to almost have forgotten Misdreavus...

Hecate paused in her tirade of babbling, realizing after a moment that the Porygon was no longer beside her. Turning, she swooped back down to the normal type beside the raid list, moving in front of its focused face and buttin' all up in his business.

"WHAT'chu doin' just stoppin' like that? Din't'cho motha ever teach you that it POLITE to tell a body when you gone done stopped followin' 'em? WHAT'chu lookin' at?"

She examined the raid board warily.
