Name: Windows Vista? >.> Just Porygon... Serial Number: 220691 if you're interested. Equivalent Age: Maturity of a 34 year old, but was created 3 years ago. Or Teacup. Whichever. Species: :Porygon Biography: 3 Years ago, this Porygon was first finished in manufacture, somewhere in Saffron City, in an alternate universe. It was considered to be exactly the same as every other one of the Porygons coming off the production line, passing QA and QC with perfection, as expected of all Silph's products. This one, however, had been tampered with, slightly, and some small sections of its programmes and scripts altered, so as to make it 'different.' The changes weren't prominent, and still aren't, as they were infact alterations in the long-term developmental abilities of Porygon. More simply put; how his psyche will grow. Nobody even knew about them, even after the event which found the Pokemon coming to this continent... Said event came three years later, with Porygon having rarely left the confines of cyberspace, and never once making contact with humans. Basically, what happened, is that Porygon was once making the transition between Cyberspace and Kanto, somthing it'd done many, many times before, when a brilliant explosion and bright light erupted during the process, Porygon was knocked unconscious, and recovered in the middle of the continent in which it stands now. For some reason, the programme's script failed, and it didn't override itself, shutting down as expected, and instead made the choice to explore. Personality: Porygon's a computer programme; He's got limited actions, choices and responses, and is incapable of normal conversations, or doing something without a distinct purpose. But, being away from any other form of computing or patching, his programme's decaying, and he'll soon become more capable of "real" responses, and freer thinking. He can currently use very straightforward and logical thinking of present, and (At computer speed) will run through feasible options to choose from, and then select the one with the best outcome, based on the available input he has. Right now, it has no major objective, though perhaps as a sign of the decaying system, it's chosen to inspect this strange new area, rather than shut itself down. What some may call an alignment isn't present in Porygon, nor are emotions and feelings, but recent events have begun to suggest this may be prone to change. A random incident, whilst it was in production, though, has resulted in Porygon permanantly behaving in an anomolous manner. When presented with a question or statement it cannot comprehend, in any manner, it runs a speech script which causes it to say "Durka" rather than one of the more appropriate questions a standard Porygon would otherwise ask on protocol. The incident, on a tangent, happened to be as a result of a vandal breaking into the Silph compound the Porygon were being manufactured, and playing with the programme programming. | Basic Flying Rules: "Try to stay in the middle of the air. Do not go near the edges of it. The edges of the air can be recognized by the appearance of ground, buildings, sea, trees and interstellar space. It is much more difficult to fly there." | |
