Essential Manual Kitchen/Household Tools; Non-electric kitchen gadgets

I have been making a list of all the manual/non-electric household tools you would need in case of emergency. I have gathered quite a number of these items, but have a way to go. You may be able to add some more things to the list.

mixer

blender

apple peeler / corer

apple press

food grater / processor

meat slicer

meat grinder

sausage stuffer

grain mill

coffee grinder

juicer

potato peeler

potato masher

butter churn

can opener

wood and/or coal burning stove-oven

refrigerator ( kerosene operated )

hand pumped vacuum sealer

caner & canning tool's

pasta maker

rolling pin ( wood )

rolling mat ( plastic mat, helps with cleanup )

pressure cooker

bean sheller

corn slicer ( for taking it off the cob after boiling to make cream corn )

strainer / colander

cast iron waffle iron

cast iron griddle

chef knives ( good complete set )

whisk's ( different size's )

cooking spoons, forks, ladles ( with short & long handles )

funnels ( stainless steel, different sizes w/ different sized spouts, get some for your shop as well )

cutting boards

cooking pots ( very large, either stainless steel or cast iron for preserving and for making soap )

wind up kitchen timer

cast iron clothing iron

laundry scrubbing board

laundry wringer

laundry agitator

clothes pins

clothes line

oil lamps

hand cranked radio

candle making supplies

soap making supplies

wind up clock

carpet sweeper

hatchet

ax ( single &double bladed )

splitting maul

steel wedges ( this and the maul is for splitting wood )

scythe

bush ax

sling blade

push mower ( non motorized )

bow saw

hand saw

hand drill

bolt cutter's

metal cutter's

rail road bar ( 5-7 foot long pry bar, chisel point on one end, round point on the other )

post hole digger

post puller

2lb sledge hammer

5lb sledge hammer

anvil

vise

forge tools

chain fall pulley's ( different sizes )

block & tackle ( it is easier to use these in a horizontal position then chain falls )

come-along

rope ( different sizes, nylon & hemp )

plow

cultivator

planter ( you can get a small one that can do all 3, plow, cultivate, plant, that you push )

+ + + the usual assortment of automotive & construction hand tools, bolts, screws, nails, washers,
nuts, pins, brads ect.
