Thanks Cas, I do love to talk about Sylvia but mostly The Novus Spiritus. The society she founded. She really does not like to use the term church, I do and I am sure she understands. When people read on her web site "spiritual services" I get phone calls wondering what we do at the services. I am the minister here in Michigan, I wish there were more here but I am sure there will be one day. Anyway for now its me. I have our church service the first Sunday of the month. I also do a study group after the service for those that want to stay. We have people that come a distance and want to be in a study group too so I like to offer that for them too. This fall I plan on having another study group at my home for those wanting to do more studies. As Cas said, we are all learning.......no one more than me. When I start out researching a topic for a sermon I spend way too much time because I get so caught up in it myself. Then only a small amount ends up in the sermon. We already had our service this month, I talked mostly about Father God and how the image of a vengeful God has effected us through our incarnations. I also talked about a little girl in our area that was kidnaped and murdered. Her name was Nevaeh which is heaven spelled backward. She was only 5 and the search for her was all over our news. Her body was found the day before the service, plus there was the horrible fire at a nursery school in Mexico. This to me is one of the reason people come to a church or a group of some kind to try and make sense of things that hurt soul deep. So I also talked about these brave souls that we learn so many lessons from when these tragedies happen. I went on to talk of the ripple effect that will continue for years. anyway, I could tell there were those that were glad I talked about these deaths, its like a release for them, atleast that the feeling I have. Well, anyway that me, thats what I do. I am also a hypnotherapist, I closed my office a year ago but I still do some at my home. I have a couple coming tomorrow for past life regressions. Those can be fun and sometimes very interesting. I love it when they give a name first and last, the year and location. Then they can research later. I have had a couple that were really interesting, for me anyway. i will talk more about them another time. Besides this I am a wife and mom. Been maried 46 years and 4 kids, 8 grandchildren and 2 and 3/4 great grandchildren. The 3/4 is due the end of this month. I babysit for our grandson Ellis 2 one or two days a week. He is my little doll I am his mam maw and he is my main source of exercise. I think I will stop now, I am close to making this long enough to be a book. Blessing's ~ Anita |

In 1995 I visited my middle daughter Betty who was teaching on a reservation in New Mexico. What an incredable experience that was for her and for me too when I visited. I flew out with our youngest daughter Michele, spent a week then the 3 of us drove back to Michigan. Betty's school was out for the summer so we spent the week traveling around New Mexico and Arizona. I feel so lucky to have had that opportunity. If you are wondering why I am writting about this now, its because when we were driving in the mountains Betty was playing a beautiful tape of classical music. Too many years passed before I asked Betty if she remembered this tape, she didn't and I thought I might never hear it again, then I was researching some old movies on amazon and someone had made a comment about the soundtrack..............well to make a long story no longer. The movie was "Goodbye Again" staring Ingrid Bergman and the music used for this movie was "Brahm's Symphony #3 Poco Allegretto". You can listen to it on youTube like I have and also learn of his inspiration for writting this symphony. I learned something else on youTube, this was Santana's inspiration for writing, "Love of My Life". I have that on one of Santan's albums, but never made the connection, until now. Isn't life wonderful? There are so many things to be greatful for, and just waiting for us to discover or find we had all along. ~ Anita

Hi all, I have been pretty busy lately so I will play a little catch up. Our church here had its 3rd anniversary Sunday. I gave a talk on the tenets then we had a pot lunch after. Everyone just seemed to enjoy themselves. I was really happy about that. Church should always be an energy boost, that one was I know. Sylvia will be back in MI. next month, I already have a long list of names on the volunteer sign up sheet. I will go down the list of names and make phone calls. Its the fairest way I know of. I will be spending a little more time working on me. I would rather do other things like getting a jump start on fall cleaning but I know I have to work on my own blood pressure. All my life its been in the low normal side, now its push its way up. My Dr. wants to keep a close eye on it for the next couple of weeks, if it stays up I will be put on medication. I had just a handful of potato chips yesterday with lunch and the salt (I guess) caused a big jump. So no chips for me. : ( I am going to force myselllf to go for a walk every day and also use meditation's I have used in the past for health reasons. Things like this just make us feel so earth bound don't the? But if I am going to be here, I want to make the best of it. |

Hi Anita, Was wondering how you are doing with the blood pressure? That is something that you really have to be careful of. Has SB been over yet? How did that go? Where all of the people who signed up, able to go? I haven't heard much about her lately. Hope everything is going well Love and Be Well Gin |

Thank you for asking Gin, I working on getting the BP under control. I was put on medication and it helped but now the Dr. has increased it. He said this should get it under control and I will start feeling better. I haven't been bad, I just get tired easy. Anyway, I sure we'll have it all worked out soon. Sylvia's lecture in the spring went real good, infact she is coming back Sept 15th. All the volunteers did a great job. I am putting together another group for Sept. I have a list of people that signed up at church so I will make calls this Sunday. In the spring she was at a Casino in MT. Pleasent. It was a beautiful place, but different from anywhere I have worked with her before. Next month she will be at Hill Auditorium in Ann Arbor. Its on the U.of M. campus and its really nice. I have been there 3 times before for her lectures and its my favorite. I just miss the other Ministers traveling with her like they use to, I understand it must of been really hard on them, I don't know how they did it. Sylvia's new husband Michael was here last time. He's nice. I am sure he will be with her next month. I will share something that happened at the last lecture. Michael was sitting up their line of jewelry and began to freak out because the lights and light stand had not been shipped from the last location. He was on his cell phone with Sylvia, who was still in her Hotel room, and told her what was going on. Sylvia told him to call ahead where the bus they had been on was headed and have the driver look under a row of seats in the front. Michael did and they found the lights. Being married to a psychic can be handy : ) |

Anita, I'm so glad to hear that you are getting your blood pressure under control. You have much work here to do yet, and I dont want you to have to do it feeling poorly. Wow, Sylvia got married? Had no idea. Congratulations to her and her new husband. So happy for her. It's wonderful that she has someone to share her life with. And yes, I can see how being married to a psychic has its benefits. Traveling can be really hard on anyone. Especially make them grumpy. Not to mention the financial cost. Sorry you miss them at the lectures, I'm sure they miss visiting with you also. Keep us updated on whats going on in your life. You are such a blessing. |

The Dr. had to increase my medication, but he said once we get it leveled off I will feel better. I sure hope so, right now I get tired so easy. We will be going on a little vacation soon. First to Tennessee to my family reunion then come back up through Ky to visit with my husbands family. We will be staying at hotels, not that we are rich but we don't want to make our visits hard on anyone and besides it will be more like a vacation that way.
