I hope it's ok to post a topic about this up here but I just wanted to let yous know I successfully graduated! I am very very happy because of this, this means I'll go to Art College next year, so exciting!

So something else to discuss, what year are you in, are you in high school or studying (or working already?), how many years left and how are you doing so far??

I see what you did there...
I've just finished my GCSEs, so I'm moving onto college in September. All I've got to do now is wait for my results to find out if I can do the subjects I want to do: Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics (Mechanical) and Law.
Yesterday was the Prom, although I didn't go with anyone it was still great fun seeing my friends and being able to laugh at their dancing. They said free buffet as well, so I ate as many free chocolate brownies, fruit salad and pizza as is humanly possible (a lot, since you ask). :X Haven't got any real worries about the results, yet to slip below an A in the sciences so I should be fine. (Hate history: D) :ermm:
In this summer hoilday I'm aiming to get a part-time job and I've handed out 10 of my CVs out, just waiting for an offer. ( :'( could you say no to this face?)
Later on in life I'm hoping to get into uni, Edinbough would be great, a science-y college in my favourite city which regularly gets a comedy festival set up in it. :bass: :D

I finished my A-levels yesterday; and I'm rather looking forward to this summer! 8D

I'm not sure how well I've done, because it's been a rather bumpy two year course. I'm hoping to get just enough to be accepted in to Nottingham University on a chemistry degree; but if I don't get in, I'm planning to attempt to get the university admin to defer my entry for a year so I can resit whichever parts of the course I need to get the grades.

Also, that is a rather good choice of A-levels, Stravagante :P

I originally chose:

Physics (Edexcel)
Maths (AQA)
French (AQA)
Computer Studies (Edexcel)

But then I realised that after a long (and I mean long) summer holiday after the GCSEs I'd forgotten all my french to some extent, so I dropped it, and ended up doing chemistry.

For my final year I ended up with:

Physics (Edexcel)
Maths (AQA)
Chemistry (Edexcel [nuffield])

The nuffield chemistry course was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in college ever... Partly due to the fact we were taught the wrong syllabus for a year! >.<
Beams of fire sweep through my head
thrusts of pain increasingly engaged,
sensory receptors succumb,
I am no one now,
only agony.

My crimson liquid so frantically spilled,
salivating red,
at the prospect of my ruin,
my doom.

People can do Mechanics specifically now!? FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Also, take it from someone who did the same but computing instead of law, unless you put your back into it, you're gonna find it hell =|

A freind of mine went to Edinburgh to do Computer Programing :o Im told it was quite good.
Also, I didn't know you were British, Stravagante XD That earns you some awsome points.

I myself have reently completed my first year at University! Im going into my second year in September studying Animation and Digital Art. I never sat any exams, but my results for the year as a whole came through recently based on our coursework. I got myself an A for 2D animation thanks to Ball man, here, which I am very pleased about ^^ Unfortunatly I got Ds in 'The compting proffesion' and in the group film prject. The latter doesn't suprise me in the slightest since the whole thing was a diabolical shambles XD Im a bit disapointed about the computing proffesion one, though. other than that I got high Bs in my three other subjects, including art ^^ A good haul al round, I think.

You're 15 right? You'd only have one more year of High School left here.

Aye, at 15 you'd be in your 3rd year of highschool in Scotland, and in 4rth year you sit your standard grades and are alowed to legaly leave if you so wish. But a sensible person will not leave and will instead stay the extra 2 years until 6th year to do ther highers and advanced highers because Standard Grades are worth SOD ALL.

xD we have a new law since 2006 that every youngster has to be in school till 18 at least.
But if you're gonna go to college/uni you can add another 4-6 years anyway!
