Ok so think about it, when you earn a chip after a virii battle, a chip doesnt just magically pop out of your computer. What happens is you get the data, and then you have to upload it onto a chip. So, in the case of solos, they just store the data and upload it onto themselves as they use it in a fight, in the same manner as if the chip were placed into the PET on a regular navi. In this way, Solos can be treated just like regular navis, so that way there won't be any major balance issues which would be inevitable given the new stats structure and navicust system. Also, this way, anyone could have a solo as their first character, or even have as many solos as they want, because it would be the same thing as a regular navi anyway. |

That is an interesting concept Moonlai, but I pose you this question in response. how do we deal with their stats, since the system is now controlled (for netnavis) via the NaviCust. Generally these programs would need to be bought in the real world. Can they be applied in the same concept to solo navis as chips are? |

If we justify it through a limited form of GetAbility, then yeah, probably. Make it a sort of weakened GetAbility - they can only absorb formatted data, like Chips and Programs, and they have a limited system memory. |
