First and foremost, you have to decide on the roleplay basics of your character: Name, age, gender, and weight. None of these affect your character in anyway when it comes to matches or stats, but how you interpret your character and what class of matches you might end up being in. Once you have that out of the way, select your character type from the appropriate thread in the rules section, and appropriate your points. Now you have a basic character type, and now you just have to pick your martial arts types. Fighters can pick three martial arts styles, found in the appropriate thread, while other classes pick two. It is advised that fighters take a standing, clinch, and ground style, but this is by no means mandatory and some players will find great success in focusing on a single martial art or just in a single area. Then post your completed character here. So your post should look like this: Name (Age) Gender (Weight) Stats Martial Arts Types |

Chen Bai-hu confirmed. Jei Tzu: Promoters don't have to take martial arts styles, I just assumed that promoters would like to throw themselves into matches early on to help out the card. Either way, promoters only get two styles as opposed to fighter's three. |
