Introduction:

» This guide explains how to fight the Dagannoth Kings in a 3-man team, or just soloing.
» The Dagganoth Kings are made up of 3 Kings in a room in which all can attack you at once if you do not kill them properly. So for all those who are not experienced enough, I don't encourage you to try until you gain enough skill to be able to kill these. The reason for killing these monsters is mainly for their drops, they drop: Dragon Axes, Mud Battle staff, The four combat rings - Berserker, Warrior, Seers, Archer, And a Seercull. Most of these drops can be sold for major profit and are common drops here. I will explain in more details the aspects of killing the Dagganoth Kings further on.

Where to find them:

the're located on waterbirth island

once on the island you have 2 walk around the mountain.

Posted Image

at the end you'll reach a cave.

Posted Image

run east then a bit north till you reach a door with 2 platforms(2 people required).

Posted Image

keep going till you reach a block, use a rune throwaxe special on the west block and contineu down with mage pray.

Posted Image
Posted Image

get up the next ladder and use range pray.

Posted Image
go up the next ladder with no pray or melee pray and you can walk there, no need for running since crabs barely hit.

Posted Image

continue down with range pray.
note!!: take the west ladder NOT THE SOUTH 1!

Posted Image

go down and put mage pray on.

Posted Image

go up with mage pray.

Posted Image

go down, still with mage pray.

Posted Image

and finally go up this is a safespot.

Posted Image

continue whenever you rdy with or without pray and you dont need to run since crabs dont hit, go down the ladder and range/melee pray.

Posted Image

go up the ladder with range pray(when using guthan heal here).

Posted Image

go down with melee pray.

Posted Image

continue to the next ladder and go down with melee pray and hide behind the ladder.

Posted Image

when prepared run with melee pray on.

Posted Image

when you reach the end of the rock lobs line turn on mage pray.

Posted Image

run ahead till you reach the next ladder(wich is the last)!

The Bosses:

Posted Image Posted Image Posted Image

supreme: Dagannoth Supreme hits with a crushing range-base attack. Avoid attacking him while Dagannoth Prime is alive. If you can not kill him faster than Prime respawns, don't touch him if you don't have to. Like Dagannoth Prime, once he is attacking you, he will do so until he is dead, no matter where you run. Be a good partner and don't run to your partners in a panic and get them attacked too.

Rex: Dagannoth Rex will attack the player closest to him with his melee attacks. Running away from him will do you no good until you are much farther from him than another partner.

Prime: Dagannoth Prime is easily the most powerful Dagannoth King against your armor. His magic-based attacks are devastating, hitting 40 or higher easily. Keep Mage prayer on at all times he is alive, no exceptions. If he has started to attack you, he will do so until he is dead. There is no running away from this King.

Posted Image

Spinolyp: These constandly attack you while killing the kings(easy for healing with guthan) the mage attacks drain prayer and the range attacks poison you.

The Drops:

Posted Image

The Tactics:

there are a few think you should know before entering the kings area.

at first...The mage always goes in first!(luring rex)

3 spots for luring rex.

the easiest spot is this 1.

Posted Image

the harder spot is this 1.

Posted Image

the one close 2 prime range spot is this 1.

Posted Image

For hybrids there is something else to know.

ALWAYS PUT MAGE PRAY ON WHILE PRIME IS ALIVE!

so when killing the first supreme you'll be having yur mage pray on.
when supreme is down run North-East, and stay behind the red line or supreme will see you while ranging prime.

Posted Image

so far the mage + hybrid methods, there is also another 1, wich is not known for every1.

Tribrid!

This way you kill all 3 in a group or solo (solo not recommended if you are below 88 summon).

you start off by killing supreme(ranger) with mage pray.
then head to rex's safespot with mage pray on and kill rex(melee), prime(mage) will stay on you till it dies.
after that head for prime on the range spot and do the whole cycle again.

The Inventory's:

Tribrid:

Posted Image

People use guthix claws nowadays but since i hate to PC even for the armour im still stuck on slay dart
Posted Image
these are just invy's i made quickly there not perfect. but at least they work.
and if you wanna know why i didnt make a guthan tribrid pic, you need 2 kill kings fast and healing takes time.

Dangers:

ill post a few pics for the thinks you need 2 be aware off and what can happen.
made all these in a solo tribrid trip.

Posted Image

for this 1 you need either a range or melee weapon to get prime off you.
kill rex then kill prime OR kill supreme and go up the ladder and back down, since prime wont spot you that quickly.
Run south then east to prevent prime from seeing you and do it all over again.

Posted Image

This can happen if you fail @ hitting on supreme or when the spawn is to fast.
Kill supreme then lure rex to the mager, or if you are mager safespot him and start killing it.

Posted Image

This one happens alot, just kil supreme with mage pray and run to prime range spot once supreme is dead.

Posted Image

This happens when you stand 2 far south on prime range spot, either let the mager get it off you or if you have mage supplies kill it on the safespot and finish off prime later.

Posted Image

You might not be able to see this since prime fell down just before i screened.... but supreme is on me aswell this happens the you range prime east of the red line i showed earlier.

Posted Image

Last but not least. ALL 3 on your ass.
for this youll have to start off by killing supreme, followed by rex and at last prime.

There is 1 more but it came up after i teled, supreme on rex safespot, you'll have to just turn on range pray and kill rex then run to supreme with mage pray(if prime is alive) and kill it.
