Hello there, my name is Valentine but you can also call me Sari. That´s my real name. I´m from Berlin(German) so please don´t mind if my english is not as good as your! ^^
One week ago I finished watching Angel Beats with a lot of tears...anyway since then I started
listening to the great music of it. And today I found someone who made a guitar cover of Alchemy. In the comments he said something about this forum so I tried it out and here I am. :3
I am 17 years old and I still go to school what can be pretty annoying sometimes, but all in all I like it
how it is yet.

Animes I am currently watching or/and that I like are for example : Angel Beats,Bleach,Death Note and
Elfen Lied ( The title is german and it means "Song of the elfs" if you didn´t know yet).
I always search for cool new Anime, so if you think there is one I could like please tell me. I´m also pretty new to Anime and Manga. I didn´t really find a Manga I really like, so also please help me! ^^

I´m not a native english speaker. Please don´t mind my bad grammar >.<

WOW. You are from Germany? that's like half way across the world. The Macleans Anime club is situated in New Zealand, which is in the southern hemisphere.
And lol. I never knew that MCAC was this famous...
For anime recommendations, if you liked Angel Beats! Be sure to check out CLANNAD, because the scripts are written by the same people. Also because CLANNAD is awesome.

Hi there!
I saw Elfen Lied quite a long time ago.
If u can look past the blood and gore associated with this anime, there is actually a very engaging and touching story behind it.
If ur into animes that will blow u away, try Steins;gate or anything by Type-Moon ( like fate/stay night and garden of sinners)

not really Fate/stay night (I mean I don't think "you die when you are killed" Shirou is going blow anyone away"). But definitely Kara no kyoukai and Steins;gate.

I'm curious as to who this is. Do you have the link to the page?

Anyway, you should list what type of anime/manga you like so we can suggest some. As in, what genre do you like? Action? Psychological? etc.

Exactly! The story behind is that, what´s really touching you! At first I wasn´t sure about this Anime because of the opening. I thought it would be another pointless story with a lot of blood in it but after a while you actually realize the beauty of it.

To be honest, I never thought about that. All I know is that I love story that are touching. I mean, have you ever heard such a desprite scream as in the of Angel Beats? God, that was amazing. Also the stories of everyone really made me think about a lot of things. Especially when there are character you can identify with yourself and you see their past.
But on the other hand I really liked Death Note. But maybe just because it´s mainstream and everybody likes it.
I would say I like Psychological, Romance and a tiny bit of Action! :3

How is it that random people from across the world are all finding our club? I think I might have to return and start adding to the traffic again hahaha.

Welcome to the site, there's lots to discuss in the dedicated sections and our older members are all happy to recommend anime and manga at a whims.

I hear Germany is quite cold this time of the year.

Awesome! welcome to the club!
highest of reccomendations

STEINS;GATE (psychological and really quite touching.)
Code Geass (psychological, action can be said to be similar to death note > only that its better)
Aria the Animation, Aria the Natural, Aria The Origination (its a series) really awesome but its really relaxed as well. its more light comedy + appreciation of nature. really good though (despite how stupid the description sounds). oh and its really touching as well.

Welcome! I'm just as confused as everyone else as to how people overseas find us, but I'm sure you'll like it here.

As for recommendations, I'd suggest Usagi Drop and Baccano!. Usagi Drop is really sweet, so I think you'll find it to your liking, and Baccano! builds up to an incredibly entertaining convoluted mess that ties up in the ending in the most satisfying way possible, so it's definitely worth a watch.
