The crew made port under the pouring rain. The rich grey cloads loomed above them as the sails rolled up. "Shit. We ain't been here since we was with the captain." Said one of the crew members, who had long hair and an eyepatch. He appeared to be the crews sniper.
"Stop maoning and help me get this off deck." Said the first-mate as he carried a large chest with him acrossthe deck. The sniper dropped his ropes and assisted the first-mate. Another crewman, who was bald took the snipers ropes and tied them off. He was bald, and had a set of tools on his belt. He was the crews shipwright.
"Don't just drop these, idiot. We don't want the sails flailin' about while we're out." He said. A smaller man sat by the mast drinking a carton of juice, and looking up as the rain fell.
"Hehe." he chuckled.
"What you laufin' about?" The sniper asked. The man did not reply. He had an odachi attached to his belt. He was the close combat expert in the crew.
"C'mon, we need to get sellin' this chest before the marines come lookin' for our cap'n." The first mate announced.
"The cap'n been gone months. We ain't not gotta worry about those marines." The sniper said, as he took the weight of the chest on his right shoulder, and carried it off the ship with the first-mate.
"Yeah. But the marines don't know that." Said the first-mate. "Everyone out. Let's go!"

The day was quite normal. The bustling city was full of traders, rushing to be where they are going, hurrying to leave where they were. The sun was hidden from the sky, a single unending cloud labouring across the sky, monotonously blocking out the sun and casting a deep, dark shadow across the place, while raining heavily down on the scene below. Business went on as usual though, no one bothered to be affected by it.

The port was busy with ships going in and unloading their cargo, and then leaving to collect more load, to make more money. That's what everything ran around though these days. Money. And that's why the pirates of the Fringe clan were in town. The ship with the pirate flag flew in to the dock at speed, slowing as the water got more shallow, until it was nicely slotted into the hole near the wet sands. The docks jetty was the furthest from the town, and was right next to the beach, making it the prime spot for a pirate ship as it couldn't be wedged in from both sides.

The boarding plank came down, landed on the slippery wood of the jetty, and steadied itself in one of the grooves between planks. A couple of ropes fly across, landing on the soggy wood, and a man quickly scurries down to tie them to the balustrades. After tying them with a quick release knot, one that would mean they wouldn't need to undo it to leave, he stands to attention, swaying slightly in the breeze, his drunken stance not helping. The rain slowly pounds at his skin and shirt, and slightly sobers him, the constant barrage annoying enough to do so.

As he stood there, his captain appeared on deck, and he greeted her quickly. "All right, this is as good a place to dock as any. The pirates we saw docked on the other side of the island, but you already know that, don't you?" He stands looking slightly awkward, waiting for his captain to dismount the ship and get them going to the other side of the island, where they saw the pirate ship slip into a small alcove.

Emily Heartwell stood on the deck watching as Graham scurried to tie up the ship. She then walked suavely down the gangplank, and walked past, beckoning with her hand for him to follow her. She pulled the rolled up wanted posters out from where she had tucked them into the back of her shorts. She flicked through them. "Yeah, cos I have eyes, and I ain't blind. And I also know... who they are..." Emily flicked past several posters: her own, Graham's, and some guy called Pugwash. She found the one she wanted, handing it to Graham. "Their flag tells me that their the Running Pirates. That's their captain, Saint Claude the 3rd. Rumour says two things: Firstly that he's kinda crazy, and secondly, he got separated from his crew in Grand Line. Shall we go test his crew?" She walked across the soft wet sand, squelching beneath her feet. They walked across town, until she saw four men get off a ship, carrying a large chest. "They look like pirates" she thought to herself; so she walked over to them.

"Why not" He says with a shrug of his shoulders, glancing at his captain who had walked very womanly down the gang plank and who was now in front of him, walking quickly on the sand. He jumps down, runs a little to catch up, and when he is level with her, he pulls out his gun and checks the barrel. "So, ya reckon they got a devil fruit?" He asks of her, as he turns the gun upside down and looks down the barrel, into the specialized four slot chamber. The safety was off, and as he is walking forwards, he trips slightly, pulls the trigger and a bullet whizzes off, barely an inch from the top of his head. "That was lucky" He slurs anxiously. slightly shaky from the near miss. The ship they were looking for's mast flew high in the sky, flag less. They obviously didn't want anyone knowing what there little visit was about, and the didn't want any abnormal attention. As they god closer to the ship, he saw a group of a few men getting of the ship, carrying a chest which was fairly dull and looked almost the same as the other chests that are taken too and from all of the other cargo ships, giving their ship the illusion of being a normal cargo ship. "Well, there are four of them, and I have four chambers in my gun. I could take them out now?" He asks, his eyes back on his gun, which he was now reloading with a packet of gunpowder and a normal spherical shaped bullet. The bullet slipped in, and he closes the chamber, lifting up the gun with one hand to look down the sight at the four men, what appears to be the first man's head in the small hole on top of it.

As they walked into town, Emily heard the gunshot as Graham nearly made a hole in his own head. "Idiot." Emily then heard Graham's suggestion as of how to deal with them, then mulled it over quickly before replying. "No. You're an amazing shot, but this is a busy town. We don't want to hit a civvy and miss the target, and we don't want to draw the marine's attention. Well... maybe not yet anyway." She thought about what others ideas they could do. Tailing them probably wouldn't work, as they'd probably notice that they were being followed if they were edgy. Bursting straight into a fist fight would just draw the marines. Another idea was... Emily found it amusing. "Let's try that" she thought. "Tell you what. Wait somewhere that isn't suspicious, but not too far from them. I'm gonna go and see if I can charm them." An impish, playful smile crossed her face, and she started to walk over to the crew through the crowd in a smooth, feminine way.

The first-mate, sniper and shipwright all heard the gunshot, and turned to see what caused it. The close combat expert kept walking on, drinking he juice.
"Mmmm, she's nice." Said the shipwright.
"Dude, just no." Said the sniper. "And who's that idiot next to her? Dummass can't even load a gun without nearly blowing his own face off."
The captain sighed, and returned to carrying the chest. "Come on, leave her alone. She's a pirate, she prolly thinks she has some shit load of power."
The sniper laughed. "A female pirate? Now thats funny."
"Shut up. She's coming over, you guys need to act normal, we don't want her damaging the goods."

While they were making their way over to the pirate group, and after Emily had scolded him for his slightly careless act, he gets a better look at the people they are approaching. The first mate seemed to be a burly man with a thin Katana, maybe 3 or 4 feet long and drooping down the back of him. He also had two slings, which had ornately carved flintlock pistols, possibly worth quite a lot of money, but from this distance and in his inebriated state he might be wrong. The first mates face was slightly scarred from battles lost or won, and he had long dreadlocks held back with a bandanna, a sign to all that he was a rebel and didn't follow the social norm. Backing up this image was a tattoo engraved into his right shoulder, which was a grizzly rendition of a dripping skull with fire in the eyes.

Next to the first mate, helping to carry the loaded crate, was the shaggy frame of the sharpshooter, who would likely be the one he would contend with the most in the obviously ensuing fight. His hair was shoulder length and a dirty blonde, and he had a dark eye patch over his left eye. He also had a flintlock pistol, but his looked a lot more worn than the first mates. However, that didn't stop it from looking fabulously ornate, with an elegant ebony handle which was polished smooth and had slight wearing on the polish at the top where years of constant handling had rubbed it down.

There were two more people in the crew. The bald man standing next to the two carriers of the chest had a set of tools on his belt, including a ratchet, screwdriver and other essential things needed by a shipwright. So that's what Graham guessed he was. Plus, anyone that bald can't possibly be anything else, the glare would be too much. So, as he glanced to the fourth man, with an Odachi on his belt, and took a while stab at him being an expert in close combat. This man had the longest hair of all of them, maybe bar the first mate, as it went all the way down to the square of his back. It was unkempt and scraggly. "Man these guys must have never heard of shampoo" He muses to himself, and smiles at the idea of 3 months at sea without any kind of hair products. "They don't call us fringe pirates for nothing" He says at the comparison.

When Emily then tells him to hide somewhere out of site, and watch her do her magic, he knew it was going to be another female seduction trick. She was really good at being a whore, a trait of her he found exceptionally funny. But he would never mouth his amusement to her. She would kill him without a second thought. Another thing she was good at; being on her period. So he skulks over to one of the alley ways that is over the road from them, making sure not to be seen, stands in it at an angle good enough to make it so he can see what happens, and hear it too, but they can't see him. He pulls the gun out, cocks it and waits intently.

Dude, you can't just describe things about my npc characters that i haven't mentioned yet. The first-mate was gonna have the katana around his waist, and the sharpshooter was gonna have a rifle.

Sure I can! I'm going by what was posted on the event screen. If you change it from that then that is bad form, because if you are going to give a description of characters, you don't just randomly change it. The thing is, I am describing what he saw, which I am allowed to do. So if you don't want them describing your characters, then describe it yourself first. I mean, come on. From what you said, I was only off on the description by two details. So why don't you stop making a fuss at the person who does the best quality posts, and just get over it.

Alright fair it enough, it would have been my bad that i forgot what was in the event description XD but i definately didnt say anything about the possition of the firstmates katana, nor what the sniper used. And people won't like it if you get into a habit of describing their chars, even if it is just keeping to their given description. You dont need that much description anyway, i dont care if you do loaaaads of words per post as long as the content is good. Description is for the surroundings, not other people's characters, if they havent posted a detailed description, they might not want one, or they may be waiting to do it themselves, so stick to yours. ps: you're not even that great, you just write more. No offence
