This was a great episode:

http://www.fox.com/fod/play.php?sh=simpsons

Install Fox's video player and then search for the episode, "Mypods and Broomsticks".

I think you might also find it on Hulu.

It starts off on December 26 and Christmas just finished. The mall is disposing of all of its Christmas decorations by means such as shredding the wooden reindeer displays and everyone in the Simpsons family is returning the Christmas gifts that Bart got them. On his way home, Bart smells a delicious aroma of what he calls "someone cooking meat in an old rug shop". It turns out to be a Jordanian boy named Bashir, barbecuing a lamb. Bart loves it and wonders why after all these years, he's been petting sheep instead of shoving them in his mouth. Out comes Bashir's mother, a hijabi Muslima, who is charmed by Bart and invites him over for dinner.

Bashir, the new student at school is accompanied by Bart to school, where Bart tries to teach him about American cultures and tells him what to avoid eating at the school cafeteria. Bart then tells him that the only thing worth eating is the pork. Bashir quickly tells him that his religion prohibits him from eating pork. Bart then says, "You're of a different religion?" and warns him that he might get picked on.

The three bullies hear this and immediately start to pick on him. Bart lectures them on not treating him differently because he has a different religion and then asks him what his religion is and Bashir says that he is a Muslim, to which Bart replies, "Oh boy". One of the bullies throws a punch at Bashir and Bart defends him with his skateboard. They hurry off to class.

After school, Bashir walks Bart home and Bart tells him, "Assalamu 'alaikum", to which Bashir responds with his salam. Homer tells Bart, "Millhouse is looking better with his new tan and his new catch phrase, 'Assalamu 'alaikuuum'".

At the bar, Homer's friends make fun of him because his son is friends with a Muslim and then they show him an episode of "24" to convince him that Muslims are terrorists. Homer suspects his Muslim neighbors of being terrorists. Marge tries to convince Homer not to be intolerant of Bart's friends and is "so happy that Bart's Muslim friend is bringing over his Muslim family for dinner".

Homer makes a lot of terrorist insinuations, which insults their guests and they leave. Homer snoops around and finds dynomite in the Muslims' house and suspects that they really are terrorists.

It turns out that Bashir's father works for a demolition crew and gets paid to destroy old buildings to replace them with new ones.

The show pokes fun at Islamophobes and shows that people shouldn't be intolerant of Muslims just because they are of a different religion.

Thanks JFK just watched it.

The episode does deal with many of the stereotypes people in the western world have about Arabs and Islam.
