http://www.thetraveleronline.com/home/index.cfm?event=displayArticle&ustory_id=a4d15bef-075b-492e-80f0-16d1a7efa9a0 An Arkansas college student, after watching a Discovery Channel re-creation piece, has now learned that JFK's assasination was "Oswald after all" The author goes on to discuss the 9/11 skeptics movement and "conspiracy theory" in general -- amusingly unaware of his own unexamined belief in what is surely the most fantastic conspiracy ever strung together -- that 19 young arab men armed with boxcutters, inspired by Bin Laden, are the sole proximate causes of all the physical events observed on September 11, 2001, including the complete disintegration of three steel-framed skyscrapers. Television is a powerful medium -- and the forces of "modern technology, like blood spatter analysis" if uttered by the right credentialed authorities on the Discovery Channel can compel even college students, who of all people should be somewhat skilled in independent critical thought.
