I think Paul is wrong in not running for 3rd party, we could definitely do it.

I think he owes it to all the people that donated to his campaign. I mean...most of that money was not given to him by people who wanted him to use it for his congressional run. Yet he is going to use it for that very purpose....not right in my opinion.

so your saying that his voice present in the government in whatever manner is less important to you then what ever money you gave? Because if he does not focus on his congressional seat he could be done. completely. I too wish things were going better or turned out different but to say turn on him now - I have to ask why were you supporting him in the first place?

I doubt it would be legal to use his Presidential campaign funds to finance his Congressional campaign. I think he'd be required to return it pro-rated(?) to the donors.

No I don't think they have to give it back - but I agree, because those that donated have given him millions of dollars - and to just quit is not an option, he can keep his Congressional seat but he still needs to hop onboard the Libertarian or Constitutional parties and run for President. They still have to have him in the debates and it will be against 2 people with two different viewpoints, it could be the first time in modern history that a 3rd party will win.

But this sad talk from Paul is really affecting the morale overall, because last week, the Ron Paul blimp could no longer afford to stay afloat, and it has been returned.

RP was on Alex Jones today and confirmed he can't use his Presidential campaign funds to finance his Congressional campaign. I can't find what a candidate has to do with unused donations, but I know they can't keep them. I'm sure RP will stay in at least until the funds run out.
