uhhh.. yea I have to agree that this is no big deal at all, except that I was rooting for Giants because they are the underdog, and I dont' like the idea of the "patriots" (a team with a double-speak name) being undefeated. the "patriots" of old were in fact the underdogs. in this scenario, the NE patriots more accurately represent the red-coats of England. I don't hate it. In a just world, it would be nice to focus on football and other sports more than philosphy and politics. But in this world, the way it is, what I do hate is how much people LOVE football. It's a distraction, pure and simple. |
