Oliver Stone: an accomplice in 9/11 cover-up

9/11 truth activists to picket and pamphlet outside theaters showing Oliver Stone's biopic George W. Bush film

(Hollywood, CA) Thousands in the 9/11 Truth Movement are angry with Oliver Stone over his new biopic film of George W. Bush, for not producing a 9/11 conspiracy movie similar to his film JFK in 1991. The new film, simply titled W, will be released October 17th.

Mark Dice, a popular 9/11 Truth Movement activist says, “When I first heard that Oliver Stone was directing a film about Bush, I was overjoyed and thought that he would blow the lid off the 9/11 cover-up. He had a chance for a historic cinematic event toping JFK which would send shockwaves throughout the world and make Michael Moore’s Fahrenheit 9/11 look like a Bush campaign ad in comparison.”

Many believe that Stone not only missed the boat on this one, but that he is purposefully avoiding the difficult issues surrounding 9/11, and has now become an accomplice in the 9/11 cover-up. In 2006, Stone directed a film titled World Trade Center, which focused on the rescue of two port authority workers following the attacks, making this new film his second whitewash of Bush and 9/11.

“I can’t express how let down I feel. Oliver stone is a sellout,” says Dice. “It blows my mind that the ‘JFK conspiracy’ of the 21st century could be missed by Stone. Instead of producing a dramatized version of the events depicting corrupt elements within our own government aiding in, and allowing the attacks to happen, he decided to make a film showing what an idiot George W. Bush is.”

According to a 2006 Scripts Howard News Service poll, 1/3 of Americans believe American officials aided in the attacks, or allowed them to happen on purpose for political leverage. Charlie Sheen, Rosie O’Donnell, Christine Ebersole, Daniel Sunjata, Jesse Ventura, and others have made headlines for their statements, supporting such ideas.

Dice is organizing a boycott of the film and plans to have people outside of dozens of theaters picketing and handing out literature and free DVDs of the documentary films Loose Change, and Fabled Enemies. Dice is most known for talk show host Michael Reagan urging his listeners to murder him after Reagan discovered such DVDs were being sent to troops stationed in Iraq.

His book, The Resistance Manifesto details the 9/11 attacks and various interlocking secret societies and how their members hold key positions of power in politics, banking, and the media. Dice is a self-described right wing Christian conservative.

Maybe Stone didn't make a movie about the 9/11 conspiracy because he couldn't come up with a narrative that wouldn't get laughed out of the theater.

Mark, if you were to write the script, how would it go?

Would you provide a link to that article as well? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Saw a trailer for 'W' last night before Religulous started. Looks like a comedy. I might even see it, but at no time since I heard it was being made did I think Stone would 'blow the lid off the 9/11 conspiracy.' Witness World Trade Center.

I saw on Bill Maher that they were both in the same freshman class at Yale. He goes on calling John Kerry, "the man" of Yale. Though he left the school twice, as he said, I wouldn't be surprised if he was apart of the skull n bones or was just the type of man the CIA picked out, as they so do in these colleges, to further the NWO agenda. George Bush is like the Wizard of Oz according to Stone because he knows so little about his presidency and Oliver Stone is Toto for pulling back the curtain on Bush as Maher said. I guess that'll make for a good screen play but I know and you know W. isnt behind the curtain. Stone is more like the cowardly lion - courageless.

There has GOT to be scripts about this floating around Hollywood. Stone could have gotten Alex Jones, David Ray Griffen, or the Loose Change guys as script consultants, and had a couple of writers knock out a script in a few months. It's not that hard for seasoned writers.

There is a formula, and you plug in certain specifics into that forumula, and bam...you have a film with all the usual elements.

Stone did WTC in 2006. Why? Why him? by 2005 9/11 truth was going mainstream. Now he does a film about what a clown Bush is?!! Like we don't know that allready? Like we haven't known that for 8 years.

Something stinks. ANYONE who follows government conspiracies knew about 9/11 fairly early.

Doing a script would be incredibly easy, since the original OCT is a fictional work, we can just change the events and people as needed and still get the point across in the theaters. Problem is all the media outlets are controlled by opposition forces opposed to any hint of scandal and their anti-truth stance about 911. If I were to shoot it, I think I would go with Able Danger and P-TECH sabotage angle.

There is no movie in the world that could begin to explain enough in the allotted time of cinema. If all you do is allude to history then it's just a real washy back story with no believability among the public, who as you can see, makes real 'independent decisions' on given information. The best we can hope for is a good budget film that shows people getting blown from the stairs on lower floors. I hear what Rodriguez says and I would really like to see a reenactment scene. Jumping under a firetruck as a building collapses.......that's visceral.
