This article says cable between Suez and Sri lanka. 2 were around Alexandria Egypt and the first one was near Marseille, France. That's alot of anchor dragging!

In my opinion, Iran is making a lot of noise, saber-rattling because our military presence intimidates them. Sadaam felt compelled to do the same thing
when threatened by Iran.

Iran has the great potential to marry into all things Western. Regardless of the road ahead, they are no more arab than we are, so I don't foresee a threat other than the pack of lies we have been fed all these years designed to rock the boat.

I think WE DID IT.

just like we set fire to all those oil wells
during Desert Storm to make it "look like a war"

the real war was over in less than one day.

Did the US Set Oil Fires in Kuwait?
Joyce Riley (gulfwarvets), an activist on behalf of those with Gulf War Illness, presented a shocking indictment of the US government during the first two hours of Friday night's show. She said that five separate Gulf War vets had told her that US troops were responsible for setting the oil well fires in Kuwait and that it was done to "make it look like the Republican Guard had set the fire." Riley speculated that the reason behind it was a kind of PR tactic to convince the American public that Saddam Hussein and his regime were a terrible evil.

She presented a transcript of her interview with one of the accusatory vets. "The explosive I used was C4. It's light weight, it's easy to use...I placed the explosive on the wellhead and the incendiaries near by so that… after the wellhead was damaged, that the incendiary could light the crude oil to fire," he told her.

Riley, a loyal American, said she hoped that the reports could be proven wrong, but had no reason to think the soldiers were lying. Several veterans who called in during the second hour questioned the veracity of the account, commenting that the language from the transcript didn't match the military lingo they were familiar with.

maybe it's uh-oh, here we go- again, not -iran

And yet another. - http://www.khaleejtimes.com/DisplayArticleNew.asp?xfile=data/theworld/2008/February/theworld_February77.xml&section=theworld&col

If you count the first on being of the coast of france this makes 5 in that region.

Funny how the MSM is pointing to India's woes over this when in fact it affects Iran's communications the worst.

I'm no military expert, but recent history has taught me that if it smells like fish, blame it on Bush&Co.

the republican party and our military have the most to gain by instigating a war just
before the national election.

they want Mc Cain in the White House
Mc Cain isn't going to make it on his good looks, or his speaking ability, which are both
marginal at best.

I think I was convinced that Saddam was evil after he attacked Iran and Kuwait then gassed his own people. Setting fire to oil wells in Kuwait is small potatoes compared to the other stuff.
