A Higher Evolution

A similar problem occurred in Oz when a GM crop of canola escaped the confines of its test area. A nearby farmer found it on his land, and nothing could kill it. It was spreading like St Johns Wart. When he finally complained, the company sued him for a breach of their patents! We also have so much consumer resistance to GM foods, that the industry is proving just as resistant to including GM labels on food products, knowing that the public won't buy GM contaminated food. |
