Omar Bin Laden, son of Osama, has recently spoken to the media about his father's role in 9/11. Click here for the articles If you do not believe what Omar is saying, what DO you believe? Off the top of my head, 2 possible things: 1 - Omar has been fooled by the US government. The son of Osama, who trained as an Al-Qaeda member, fooled, by the US government, that his father was behind 9/11. 2 - His recent statements are false, as he too is part of the U.S. government conspiracy. I should clarify, Im not asking if you believe Omar when he says that his father is sorry for 9/11. Im asking if you believe that he is sincere when acknowledging that his father was responsible for it. |

Either this topic is being ignored or it is taking time for people to organize their response to it. I had expected responses by now. Interesting that there have been none thus far. |

Hi No family, Does Omar know for sure that his father is behind 9/11 or in other words, as his father ever confessed this to him?? Or is he speculating that he thinks his father is behind the attacks? Even though the FBI say they have no hard evidence that OBL was responsible for 9/11, that most people still think he is responsible because of the links the media and Bush admin have made. I wouldn't suggest that Omar is part of the government conspiracy either, even if his claims are false. There are plenty of other motives for him making false claims if they are indeed false. This information I have to take with a pinch of salt until it can be substantiated further. Cheers Stundie |

According to those articles, Omar hasn't spoken to his father since 2000, when he left an al Qaeda training camp. Osama has never confessed 9/11 to him. Omar is one of 19 children that Osama has fathered.
He is speculating, basing his speculation on having actually known Osama, involved in the al Qaeda training camps, etc.
And then there are those people who believe elements within the U.S. governemnt are responsible because of the links conspiracy organizations such as Loose Change has made. ...or some people can think for themselves, right? I don't think Omar needs to hear it from Bush or the media in order to come to his own conclusions.
Could be. He may just want to be some kind of "hero of peace." What other motives did you have in mind? Edited by no family, Jan 29 2008, 02:28 PM.

I agree with you that he is speculating, but I disagree slightly because Omar would have known his father because he was his father, not because of his or his fathers involvement in the Al-Qaeda training camps.
Yes, Loose Change would be responsible for changing some peoples beliefs. However, some people who believed elements within the U.S. governemnt are responsible come to the conclusion without ever watching Loose Change too. People can think for themselves too and often do.
I'm sure he doesn't. I'm sure he can think for himself like most people who say that Osama is still responsible, even though the FBI say they have no hard evidence! Not a case of "Trail by media" is it at all when you have all those hard facts that prove OBL was responsible for 9/11. Well judging from the article, I couldn't agree more. I'm speculating here, I think what he is doing is admitting that his father did 9/11 to create publicity in order that he may get offered a position as an envoy of some description. He says in one article that his father is not a terrorist which is odd considering he says he did 9/11. He doesn't seem to be that close to his father, he as a very western lifestyle and was recently married to a widow in the UK. They haven't spoke for ages and all he is saying that he wants to be a "Hero of peace!" and he says that his father was trying to achieve it. I could be wrong, but Osama son saying he think he done it is not enough for me, I need hard proof. |
