Hi! I just now, finally, got around to seeing "Loose Change Final Cut," having obtained a DVD copy recently. Although I have some disagreements with it, I like it a lot better than previous versions.

I'm a member of New York 9/11 Truth. I've been active in the 9./11 Truth movement since late last summer.

I'm glad to see that your forum has a section devoted specifically to WTC 7. I might soon be preparing for a possible public debate about WTC 7 with a bunch of official-story defenders, in which case I'll probably be visiting that section of your forum often over the next several weeks.

Hi Diane, I've been reading your site on and off for a few months. Since this forum is new, you may not find much info in the WTC7 site here. You could try the old forum, there's 3 little boxes at the bottom of the page that will let you look at all threads from 'the beginning'.

Good luck with the Hardfire thing if you choose to go for it. I find it hard to believe you're 15 years old as your profile states.

I'm not 15 years old. I'm quite a bit older. I just hadn't filled out my profile yet, and for some reason it gave me a default birthdate, I guess. I've fixed that now. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Well said Dianne,
I am really keen to get a copy of the DVD, but we are not allowed to buy it yet.

Well, someone gave me a copy. I guess it must have been an unauthorized copy.

Today I met Ron Wieck in person at a diner, where he also gave me a DVD containing the shows in which Mark Roberts debated with the Loose Change guys. (I can't watch the show via streaming video, hence need the DVD to see it.)

At this point I'm not yet sure whether to accept his invitation to appear on his show. I'll need to make a decision within the next several days.

Diane...perhaps you'd be interesrted in reading this thread in JREF politics forum before you make a decision. He may claim Pomeroo as his alter ego, but I don't see how he can really seperate his "personalities".

Again...good luck if you choose to try.

I decided not to appear on Ron Wieck's show. I posted my reasons here.

I did read that yesterday and I think your reasoning is sound. Perhaps waiting to read the pros and cons of the arguments the NIST report presents would make for a better debate. At this point it seems that everything about WTC7 is he said/she said conjecture, not that I expect the NIST report to necessarily clear that up.

... except for what I consider to be the central issue, which is glaringly obvious: The straight-down, symmetrical nature of the collapse.

In any case, I haven't yet examined quite all the eye-witness testimony, etc. that's currently available to the public. That's the main reason why I decided not to appear on the show.

If you decide to revisit the debate challenge at a later date, you have at least one advantage in your favor. There are three pages of WTC7 tagged threads at JREF that will give you insight to the tactics and 'facts' with which you'll be confronted. There is one thread, started over a year ago by Christopher7, still on the first page that is now 101 pages long. Christopher7 posts here as Chris Sarns if you'd care to PM him for some source material or what have you.

Just as a heads up, in the time I've been lurking over there, I don't recall any point (no matter how small) ever being conceded in any discussion...and I can assure you, what you consider to be the glaringly obvious central issue is one of them.

It is not my intent to sound preachy, or making your eyes roll with statements of the obvious, but the 'official' side of the story has spent untold hours and resources obfuscating the events of 9/11 and I don't see them backing down in any way, shape, or form any time soon...if ever.

Thanks to blarney fife for your suggestion.

For the latest episode in this saga, see my latest blog post, Debates and such - further reply to some JREF folks. See also the comment thread following my post My decision about Ron Wieck’s show.
