Came across this.

Snopes says the NAU isn't real. We can all go back to sleep now. I love how they cling on to the 2010 date. This date has been mentioned as an ideal date of the NAU but was never nailed down as "the date it would be begin." They site no source at all to back up their claim. They do link to the SPP but do not use it as a source for the claim. Besides can we take the word of the SPP as to what the SPP is doing??

They did miss one little thing in the post. They mention Building a North American Community published by the CFR in association with the Canadian Council of Chief Executives and the Consejo Mexicano de Asunots Internacionales.

CFR: Building a North American Community

Sponsored by the Council on Foreign Relations in association with the Canadian Council of Chief Executives and the Consejo Mexicano de Asuntos Internacionales.

North America is vulnerable on several fronts: the region faces terrorist and criminal security threats, increased economic competition from abroad, and uneven economic development at home. In response to these challenges, a trinational, Independent Task Force on the Future of North America has developed a roadmap to promote North American security and advance the well-being of citizens of all three countries.

When the leaders of Canada, Mexico, and the United States met in Texas recently they underscored the deep ties and shared principles of the three countries. The Council-sponsored Task Force applauds the announced “Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America,” but proposes a more ambitious vision of a new community by 2010 and specific recommendations on how to achieve it.

Snopes claim the NAU is false but the last paragraph of the page states....

Snopes

None of this is to say that the three North American countries might not someday decide to form closer ties along the lines of the European Union, perhaps with a common currency and more fluid borders. But there is currently no official government plan underway to make it happen by 2010.

So Snopes isn't really claiming the NAU is false. They claim that no official government plan is underway to make it happen by 2010.

Well thanks Snopes. No one I know is claiming the NAU will be in full swing by 2010. Glad your last paragraph states that you do believe in the move for a NAU.

Someone needs to tell Snopes to look into the Trans-Texas Corridor. How Texas is planning to buy or just take the land that the Corridor will go through.

Your glorious Loose Change Forum dictator...
Thank god.

And while we're at it, 9/11 wasn't an inside job:

Phew.

The
notion that the Pentagon was not damaged by terrorists who hijacked American Airlines Flight 77 (a Boeing 757) and crashed it into the military office complex, but that the whole affair was staged by the U.S. government, has been promulgated by French author Thierry Meyssan in his book, The Frightening Fraud. Meyssan offers no real explanation for what did cause the extensive damage to the Pentagon, asserting only that Flight 77 did not exist, no plane crashed into the Pentagon, and that "the American government is lying."

I found it funny how at the end they just say the date of 2010 is false and that in the future a move towards a NAU is possible.

Snopes is just there to keep the sheeple in line and thinking happy thoughts, IMO.

Yeah we wouldn't do anything like that. I mean providing Mexico with our natural resources... That's crazy talk.

The Inland Feeder is expected to pipe water from the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta during the rainy season into the Diamond Valley Lake reservoir in Riverside County by 2010. The water will be distributed from northern Los Angeles County to the Mexican border.
