The operative states that "thermite cannot bring down a building" (which it can) and then states, "we used an airplane, which is really big", yet it cannot bring down a building. He then cited evidence that doesn't exist, such as receipts. Secondly, are you implying that you believe the fake Osama videos are real? I have yet to see a video expert who claims that the videos are legit.

Fox News reported his death back in December 2001:

It is excellent satire with the brunt of the humor directed at the poor suckers who are gullible enough to believe such a fantasy as the Official Conspiracy Theory (OCT). The guys at the Onion love to poke fun at our US bought and paid for prostitute mainstream news media who could have totally destroyed the nonsensical OCT in a few short months if they had truly been truthseekers. Obviously the easily NeoCONned are the dedicated boob tubers in America who believe the OCT and have no clue on how to think for themselves.

How would you feel if you spent, you know, 2 months in a mountain cave, ehhh, sleeping on rocks, planning something really special, only to have someone take the credit away from you?

That too was my favorite line in the satire. I burst out laughing at that line which brought half a dozen friends over to the monitor to rewatch the video, evoking 45 minutes of laughter and joking about poor Tim Osman (ooops ... Usama bin Laden) sleeping on rocks, beating on his kidney dialysis machines in frustration, because his damn elite hijackers could not stay out of the decadent US titty bars and away from the whores and keep their big mouths shut. Poor Usama could supposedly almost control these incompetent clowns from the opposite side of the globe with high-tech goodies, but could not make a decent video nor audio tape. Bwahahahaha. These loony Al Qaeda supporters who believe such rubbish are a joke.

There are no real experts who believe the Usama 'confession' videos are legitimate. Nah, the videos were faked and poor CIA asset Tim Osman (Osama) said he didn't do it and he has been dead and pushing up daisies for almost 7 years now.

It was an Inside Job and the Bush Regime did it. The Onion is mocking the Al Qaeda (al-CIA-da) supporters who are the fools who would believe such nonsense as the OCT.

Bush's Administration, they're a den of jackals....

I think their target is the OCT, and also highlighting the incompetence of Bush in general.

Here's a good article from the onion archives. They could see the writing on the wall very quickly...

"Now more than ever, if we want to protect democracy for future generations, it is vital that nobody speak out about the issues of the day."

"We must all do our patriotic duty to protect our country's great ideals," Fleischer continued, "and we have to be careful about what opinions we express if we are to defend our Constitution, a sacred document behind which all Americans must stand united as one."

i'm sure out intelligent enemies believe this too is somehow mocking us just like al qaeda's rep saying 'me and bush we go out, we hang' and then defending the bush version of 9/11 is the onion making fun of the 9/11 truth movement

Yes the Onion was way ahead of its time, writing this satire exposing the hypocrisy of our government only 1 month after 9-11. The treachery of the Bush Regime was apparent to many way back then. 9-11 was indeed an Inside Job.

The Onion - October 10 2001

Attorney General John Ashcroft

"Our most basic American values are threatened by an enemy opposed to everything for which our flag stands. That is why I call upon all Americans to submit to wiretaps, e-mail monitoring, and racial profiling. Now is not the time to allow simplistic, romantic notions of 'civil liberties' and 'equal protection under the law' to get in the way of our battle with the enemies of freedom."

U.S. Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), who advocated permitting the CIA to engage in various illegal activities during a recent Tonight Show With Jay Leno appearance, stressed the importance of not merely submitting to freedom-curtailment policies, but also blindly agreeing with them.

Senator John McCain

"Now is not the time for such divisive, destructive things as dialogue and debate," McCain said. "Now is not the time for 'My opinion is just as valid as yours' and 'What are my country's leaders doing and why?' and 'I have a question, Mr. President.' Now is the time for one thing and one thing only: The defense of the American democratic ideal. Any and all who disagree with this directive, or who have different ideas about how it should be accomplished, should learn to shut their mouths."
Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld

"It is therefore urgent," Rumsfeld continued, "that all Americans be quiet, stop asking questions, accept the orders of authorities, and let us get on with the important work of defending liberty, so that America can continue to be a beacon of freedom to all the world."
