The tape of BBC World News announcing early collapse of WT7 was misplaced because it was put on the 2003 shelf rather than the 2001 shelf. The most memorable event of human kind misplaced due to cock-up according to the programme, you couldn't make it up. (But it looks like thats exactly what they have done )

The point is that they did not mention Barry Jennings statement that he heard load explosions beneath the 6th floor while the Twin Towers were still standing. They cut this at after about 10 minutes in the programme. I hope it will be online soon for people in the US, so you can see what they did! |

so they lied about Barry Jennings, then. Classic. To ommit something like the explosions he heard, is truly a lie, isn't it? Should we kid ourselves about definitions now? They are lying to us every time we turn on the "tube"... thats for my brittish friends!

but did Barry Jennings give that statement to the BBC? Mr Jennings has clearly changed his story with regard to bodies in wtc7, his claims that he was misrepresented as saying he "saw" bodies rather than "felt" bodies seems to be only a technical difference, and not necessarily significant, even if true. the bbc edited the program with images of dusty floors as barry is describing his descent to floor 6, implying his descent was after the south tower collapse. this is clearly in contradiction to his initial testimony, but i don't think they state explicitly the timeline - it looks deceptive to me. I'd have to watch it again for details, but i was left with the impression that they gave a false timeline. all the original footage in entirety made by LC would be useful to examine. I think the show overall was better than I expected, but its always the last 10 minutes that matter most and they are pretty bad. they got the nanothermite, iron spherules etc....and - Mark Loizeaux talking about miles of wiring (how many miles of wiring do they need to detonate explosives on spacecraft Mark?). Skeptics, what do you think of the way this evidence was portrayed by BBC? Was it honest to show the dusty floors as if Barry was really there after one of the collapses, or do you think that is fair game? |

I know what you mean. They were showing his account whilst also talking about the collapse of the first towers, to make it seem as if what he said about the explosions was AFTER the collapes. But it wasnt. They also missed out his part about the WTC7 lobby being destroyed before anything had collapsed that day. Edited by Rich, Jul 8 2008, 05:04 AM.
