Now I'm going through my War in Iraq archive that covers the first few weeks from the beginning of the invasion, then sporatic coverage throughout the following months up until the capture of Saddam Hussein in December 2003. Don't know what to expect looking through these as this is the first time since recording them that I've had a chance to really watch them. The was recorded the night we began the bombing before the bombs actually fell. It was March 19, 2003. Apparently the White House expected this to be a "short conflict". Here we are now...nearly 5 years and 4,000 dead soldiers later. CBS - The War In Iraq begins... |

A bio-terror drill was scheduled in NYC for the day AFTER 9/11. This place provided an HQ for the Office of Emergency Management that was said to be even larger than their bunker housed inside the demolished WTC 7. What a nice convienance that must have been. Listen to this pilot describes the conversation he has with his co-pilot on 9/11 after learning of the attack on the World Trade Center. CNN - Pilot describes how he'd handle a hijacker The government wants us to believe that after the United 93 pilots were warned that hijacked planes were crashing into the World Trade Center and after they typed back "CONFIRMED", we are led to believe that the two UA93 pilots didn't brace for a potential hijacking. Not to mention the fact that the ground never received a hijack squawk from UA93. |

At around 11:30 p.m., CNN broke with this report... Less than five minutes later, during a press conference with Mayor Giuliani, NYPD Commissioner Bernard Kerik denies that explosives were found. More to come on this if I find it. |

At 9:58 a.m. on the morning of 9/11, just 5 minutes United 93 crashed, a passenger on board. hiding in the back of the plane. phoned a 911 operator to report a hijacking. Just before the line went dead he reported hearing an explosion and seeing white smoke. Then the plane crashed. |
